Shit, Pink Floyd sounded awesome.....I know it would be asking too much for them to tour again.

Damn, delfunk beat me to the punch!

Roger looked like he was really enjoying it too and I don\'t remember ever seeing Gilmour look so happy - usually he looks miserable.

Setlist for those interested;
Breathe, Money, WYWH - dedicated to Syd by Roger, who also took the second verse, Comfortably Numb - as it should be played, not like the trainwreck the Scissor Sisters made of it.

Have put a video in for the end.

BTW Townshend and Daltrey were very good too. (Can\'t call them the \'oo, without Moonie and the Ox) They did Who Are You and Won\'t Get Fooled Again.

Did anyone save this?!

I missed it!
3-4-05:  Inspired, enlightened, surprised, excited, confused, evoked euphoria, focused, newfound faith in music.

got back from the pool about halfway through Money and was able to catch the rest. had tears in my eyes. awesome.

the coverage was as horrible as i expected though.. thanks vh1, for having 2 of your fucking tools on the screen during ComfNumb. i really enjoyed hearing how excited they were about pink floyd much more than i would have enjoyed the actual performance..

I went through that experience back in 85 seeing Led Zep doing Stairway, a song I never thought to see/hear live (well, live through the telly at least). And of course, Ozzy got back with Sabbath at the same show.

Nice capture, to0, freddie.

Anyone else notice it was Roger who encouraged the others to stand together for the bow? Reunion tour next year? Odds anyone?

was at dinner when they played. freddie, thanks for the hookup. Glad I didnt have to sit through a bunch of talking heads during numb. Set was exactly what I figured, playing was excelent, Rodger looked great, never thought I\'d see it.

As the one sign said, "pigs have flown: PInk Floyd reunited, Hyde Park, London"

btw, wtf the videos all 4x3? Are they recording 16x9 and just only broadcasting a downres, or was it actually shot 4x3? Cameras on stage can do it. Was suprised at that.

Well other than the fact that all 4 were together I found the performance rather average. Maybe it was the retread setlist or the fact that Nick was not in top form. Anyone notice how little Richard was seen? I found that odd.
I also noticed the absolute glee Roger had the entire set while Nick and David shared more than one wry glance @ each other over his antics. I would not get excited for a reunion tour of any sort.

yeah, i wasnt impressed.  i think if a reunion tour happened, they\'d probably rehearse a little more.
