for those of you who aren\'t getting the confirmation emails (has anyone got one successfully?), there\'s this:

Important Notes About Your Email Address

    * AOL users in particular: Don\'t forget the @aol.com part. Also, your email address is not a website so it does not begin with "www". 8-)

    * Former @Home users: Apparently some of you haven\'t heard that your former user@home.com email address is no longer valid. If you have not yet received notice about that, please find out what your new email address is before attempting to register.

    * Typos: Be sure to proofread your typing. One simple mistake is all it takes for your password to end up in limbo land.

    * Some email providers automatically deactivate accounts if they have not been used after a certain number of days. If you haven\'t checked your email recently, send yourself a test message before submitting this registration form.

If you do not receive the email promptly, try sending yourself a test message to verify that there isn\'t a problem with your mail server. If you do not receive your own test message, that means there is something is wrong on your end. For example, ask your ISP if their mail server is busy.

If you have tested your email and are certain that you entered your address correctly, it may be that our mail server is busy. It happens now and then, but it is rare and should never be tied up for more than two hours or so.

i\'d say if you don\'t hear anything by tomorrow, try contacting them to let them know about the problem.

here\'s one thing of note (edit: this should answer your ? marcial):

i think their definitions of \'bracket\' and \'tournament\' are different than mine. i created a tournament, and then 4 brackets within, but i don\'t think it understands that the winners of those 4 brackets will face each other. in which case, i\'d need to make a new bracket when the final 4 rolls around. i could have had one 64-team bracket, but then i wouldn\'t be able to put the regions. anyways, i\'m not about to go and do it all over again, so this will have to do..
