Yeah Steve, the best part of the whole thing for me is getting a sense of what fans like what songs and why. It\'s great that we can see who voted for each one.

superfly was the first pb song i ever heard and then asked a friend to get me a copy of the cd when i was in high school..

haha it was one of the first for me too! i remember one of my friends picking up a copy of the first CD at one of the university of hartford shows in 2000 i think? the ride home from the show we listened to it... these could possibly be the first pb lyrics that were etched into my brain ;)

i would consider Fresh Cut losing to superfly phaddy fat a complete and disgusting upset...  I can see how some will vote with their hearts (ie. it was the first pb song i heard blah blah blah), but are you ser????

 be still my heart... fresh cut is a great tune, dont get me wrong, but the breakfast just doesnt do anything with it... its just too new, they need some time to experiment and grow more comfortable with it... when they are more flexible with the song i will probably like it more (ie maybe the tournament of \'07 will be promising for fresh cut) but as for right now, superfly has in definite, concrete awesomeness what fresh cut is storing in potential "ser-ness" so to speak... just my two cents, at least.

Yes FC is played way too much since its debut, but the sound of that jam at Porter\'s the other night really should clue people into what that song can/will become.  SPF is another song that needs a NEW TITLE!!!

Fresh Cut is a song that you\'ll notice is getting longer and longer. This is because of the sheer insanity that is produced at the end of the song. This version was wild, and had an amazing build to the final lines of the song.

Listening to FC again from Porter\'s and I can see this band ripping this song up at a huge show in the future when Superfly is just a memory like Jeff Holdsworth...Second set opener at the Meadows 7/4/2010...17 minute monster leading into a crazy Love Lake that had been busted out finally earlier that year in Nassau Colisseum, oh what a winter tour that was...sorry I have a wicked imagination, probably from all those helicopter rides I have taken.

I am just making my pro-Fresh Cut stance well known.....
I completely know that to each his/her own is fair indeed....

This tournamnent of Tunes has already exceeded my expectations in every aspect of it.....especially how it has really focused a lot of the talk on this board to the breakfast and breakfast related topics.....already like it way better than any phantasy tourney that i have participated in.....kudos to dave peck and the small group of people who worked on putting this together...

Superfly c\'mon people.  Fresh cut is a good song and it does have a lot of potential but Superfly.  Vocal Jam>Superfly  awesome.  It\'s an excuse for Tim to really let loose for two quick guitar solos.  Also when Tim and Ron harmonize the thrid Superfly Phaddy Fat around in that little bridge, that\'s ser and I\'m ser, this whole damn message board is SER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh and Fitz I need to get one of those shirts!!!! ser
If trees could scream do you think we would be so cavalier to cut them down? Maybe if they screamed all the time for no good reason.

Probably the worst thing about having King Kong run rampant in your town would be the huge, monster genitalia.

I wish I had a kryptonite cross, because then I could keep Dracula and Superman away.
