SCC is a BIG reason I decided to make the trek out. I have gone back and forth the past 2 weeks on going and not going. Other than Stevie\'s Bday the other instigation is SCC. I have been wanting to see them for a long time and have pimped them as much as The Breakfast to my friends over the past year. Def. not on the level of The Bfast in terms of technical chops but I LOVE the grooves they create and they sing pretty damn well. Very Very fun band on disc,I am sure they will be a treat in person.

Sorry to break the news to you, but SCC kind of backed out on the gig.  Their bassist can\'t make it for some reason, so they are going to perform without him.

I\'ve seen their side-project band called Gives Us The Money Lebowski and they jam some great tunes.  That\'s who will be opening now instead of SCC.  I\'m sure some of you will love it.  I have seen them twice and had a blast both times.

Oh well such is life. The Breakfast alone would be worth it so..

Too bad about SCC, I was looking forward to it. The last and only other time seeing them, they got rained out after a couple of tunes at the Bamboozle a few years back. Of course, later in the day, Breakfast comes out on the same stage in a mild hurricane and still manages to blow out a smokin set.....

Uhh The Breakfast ARE a mild hurricane, so that\'s no surprise.

My buddy Dan is seeing U2 a few days before this show.  I still can\'t convince him that PB (still the official abbreviation) will blow U2 out of the water.

Never liked U2, never will. It\'s a shame my personal hero, Mr. Brian Eno, produced their stuff :(  Breakfast will own face.. God bless \'em...

Sold my U2 tickets and went to see Trey. Much better then U2, IMO, but then again I never got into U2.
Love many, trust few and don\'t be late.

After watching the Cream reunion last night I kept thinking how much better Breakfast is than these guys. Especially when they played songs the Breakfast has played like Glad, man the difference in the energy level is huge. I also couldn\'t believe how weak Ginger was. Kind of sad really.  The whole thing seemed very sanitized to me.

seriously?  you think so?  wow, i completely disagree.

as much as i love the breakfast and think timmy is the man, Cream really blew me away when i saw them at MSG....especially Clapton.  maybe it didn\'t translate well to you on video or something because everyone i talked to afterwards said it was one of the best shows they\'ve ever seen in their life.

it\'s like comparing apples to oranges anyways.  i\'d be interested in seeing the Breakfast at MSG in 40 years to see how they\'d do.  i just hope i\'m still around to see it when it happens.

now watch...the Breakfast will play a mindblowing version of Crossroads or Glad or something else at UAC and prove me wrong.  and i\'ll be happily eating my words.
