Yeah, but nothing beats a road trip, IMO. And Jeremy\'s fun...we go to Lafayette Brewing Company at least once a week so he can play open mic night, sometimes up to 3 times a week if we see other live music acts. I was going to go to Wakarusa with him, but I couldn\'t take off work. I wouldn\'t ever make a big trip like that by myself, and Jeremy would scoff at the idea of flying.

That\'s why I suggested doing it during the school year...I went to Michigan for 4 days during school, and my parents still have no idea.

with gas prices what they are these days it would prolly be cheaper just to book a flight in advance especially if you do it solo and way quicker too obviously.

Rising fuel prices for autos also = rising fuel surcharges for air transportation.  Before moving to CA in Feb. I used to fly out here (Oakland) from Boston every few weeks and never paid more than $200 round trip.  I hear that cheap seats are at least $300 on average now.
