MayFly unfinished... assuming just the "Ahoy" section left out? this, to me, dave -- would cause a separation in future setlists when needed.

yeah thats right, wanna fight bitch?

actually, MFD went into the jam, and never came back for the 3rd verse either, so it wasn\'t just the \'ahoy\' section..

fine.

this show proved to me that the ball is rolling and picking up speed quick- finally.  much better vibe compared to Sterling Stage, and a really nice set up.  camping in the woods a la Berkefest, except the trail goes around a river which is accessable for swimming, bathing and many other water activities.  somehow after being on the road since Toronto, these guys were able to keep the energy alive in thier playing.  the looks on thier faces were priceless during some of the jams.  Inner Glimpse>jam>Cut Me Some Slack brought the funk.. the sound was tremendous!! Dobz somehow controlled everything like the proffesional he is.  I attempted to stay by a speaker, and was met with quivery vital organs.  Moby Fuckin Dick.  somehow Animal topped the drum solo from last night, imo (I think the crowd reallly made a difference; in that you could tell most of the people there were appreciative of music and not under the influence of triple stacks and dirty acid).  encore was sweet.. I must say that it was never easier to unload a thick stack of flyers for an upcoming PB show- I figured to start the distribution proccess at the end of the Police cover and was almost empty handed at the song\'s end.  kinda funny how these guys fully blew Reid Genauer (Sunday night headliner) out of the water.. he\'s looking real old and tired anyways- although he\'s still got that towering voice..

was Message the encore?
The crickets and the rust-beetles scuttled among the nettles of the sagethicket. "Vamanos amigos," he whispered, and threw the busted leather flintscraw over the loose weave of the saddlecock. And they rode on in the friscalating dusklight.  --Eli Cash

EPIC EPIC EPIC EPIC EPIC EPIC EPIC EPIC

Beardslee was 1 of the shows where everything is just too perfect. The STrbagecreek set I was worried the guys would be tired and having played this epic show on Friday night also Depth Quartet THREW IT DOWN and they were the band before the breakfast. It started slow they gave us an album taste and then BAM. They ripped it up. I actually left my rig and went down and rocked out front row.

Jordan was on fire and at 1 point he was playing standing up and was soo in the zone (he looked really pumped). really killer set.

[/QUOTE]the band was told ahead of time that the previous band wasn\'t getting an encore so they could go on sooner, and that band WAS given an encore.

How many were in the crowd (best guess of course)?

toughest question ever.
but from my perception of the size of the overall audience area, attendance was pretty full
Not sure what is gonna transpire. Regardless, we ain\'t gonna forget the gravy.

Dave....

If you would post that review at http://www.therhombus.com it would be supergroovy.  We need more coverage there.

it was pretty large to be honest, at one point i ended up at the back of the crowd, lookin at the stage... they seemed so far away it was really weird, it was sorta like seeing them in a really large venue or something.... it was cool though, everyone was dancin\' and havin a blast :)
seemed like people were diggin b\'fast more than reid later on... maybe it was all the alcohol but the crowd seemed bigger to me during the breakfast set... definitely more energetic.
