Original Songs You Would Like To Hear The Breakfast Play

Bring back all the shelved songs, particularly Love Lake, Gypsy Girl, Kote etc.

Take Episode 3 to the stage!!

I hear there has been a push to bring back Frankly Po Zest.  Hopefully the efforts pay off.

I would also like to hear a new organ-driven track in the near future.

adrian badly wants to do something with Kote. he wrote it, and loves it, and wants to bring it back. but the original lyrics would most likely be shelved, as the\'re almost completely false at this point..

What is the scoop on the lyrics?  (Mets fan: Chris Pitch?)

Kote isn\'t a bad song, especially when the band tears through it.

Also, is it pronounced as "Coat" or "Ko-Tee"?  I think I\'ve heard Tim sing both pronunciations at different parts of the song, though it has been a while since I\'ve heard it.

personally (only 3 shows under my belt) i still need to hear live: Escher\'s, Tribal, Rufus. id also be stoked on a Drunk Monk and FFT.

zurflu-- ive never heard ANY of the songs on your signature-wich. is there a date on Llama that would take care of most of these? im tired of hearing all these opinions and not knowing what the fuck they even sound like.

Love Lake was probably the most commonly played of the shelved tracks below, all the others were played sporadically (Vortex was a 1 timer).

Vortex - See the music section of thebreakfast.net/thebreakfast.org for previewing

Gypsy Girl - 1/26/01 at Toad\'s Place

Love Lake - Baker Quad on 5/5/01

Kote - 5/4/01 At Toad\'s Place ( was played right after Tom Marshall joined the band onstage for YEM)

Prom \'97 - Living Room on 3-28-01 or 8-27-01 at Toad\'s (It\'s not much of a song in my opinion.  I can hear hints of The Chase and Attraction to Shade Ditty in it).

Late and Great - Not sure if there is a show available for download that includes this rare tune.  It used to be downloadable on .info a half year ago.

Hope you enjoy some of these tunes!
