I became aware of this new project yesterday, of course, I don\'t know what to expect from Les. Rumors circulate as to who is part of this band and what they will actually sound like. I\'m all for it, just hope that it doesn\'t sound like the FFFB or BofBB. I like both of these bands but I want to hear a new sound from Les. The logo design looks like the ABB peach meets Steal Your Face.

Looks tasty, mmmm, electric apricot, mmmmm

Here is the latest scoop I got from lesclaypool.com board.

Electric Apricot:

Les Claypool aka lapdog - Drums

Jonathan Korty, "Vinyl Keyboardist"- Keys

Buckethead - Bass (no bucket, but, was in a Zoot Suit, had nerd glasses on)*

"Gordo" - Guitar Player, onlt refered to as "Gordo"*

* There is still controversy as to if these 2 guys were actually the real players. People who went, don\'t even know.

last night my buddy told me that it was only Les, Bobby and Jay Lane (Ratdog\'s drummer).. I didn\'t realize Buckethead, and the dude from Vinyl were considered family.  just my .02

You may be totally right, Buquebus.

Thats the info I put together from the Les message board. The 150 people who attended only could identify Les.

Buckethead is def. considered family to les.

ripped from jambands.com : "the imagery on Lesclaypool.com references the Grateful Dead Steal Your Face iconography (along with a Dylan nod) which has inspired all manner of Dead-related speculation"
