Alright, so this stuff usually doesn\'t bug me, but it\'s happening way too often here on .info. Since everyone else has a bitching thread in progress, here\'s mine:
“You’re” is always a
contraction of “you are.” If you’ve written “you’re,” try substituting “you are.” If it doesn’t work, the word you want is “your.”
"your" is a possessive pronoun, like his, hers, or theirs. It means
ownership and usually follows a noun.
