nice to see everyone as always. felt like i made a lot of .info introductions last night, and myself it was great finally meeting jking and Giavanna. (Gia belting a few notes of the Italian Cinderella (i believe) after the show to a crowd of about 15 in the webster could have easily been the highlight of the night!!):thumbsup:

so who got a .info cd?? come say hi if you did. :)

Thanks Dave! Nice to meet a bunch of folks on my end too! Didn\'t forget about calling your voice mail... ;)

it was great seeing folks again, and meeting all the new faces!

as prepared as i tried to make myself, the webster\'s sound sucked so bad that i hardly enjoyed myself, quite frankly. i\'ll certainly never go there again. the folks there seemed harmless enough and my frisk was completely minimal, but the sound was just atrocious. it sounded to me like they have a long-throw pa in a fairly short room, combined with the all cement decor, combined with someone on soundboard who doesn\'t know how to mix the thunder and stomp coming from ron & adrian in order to keep timmy and jordan up enough to still be effective (though, to his credit, that\'s an unenviable spot to be put in, especially in that room, but i digress) and you get a muddied, garbled crapfest. hell, when i was down front, i was about five folks back on ron side, in between him and the pa speaker, and i couldn\'t hear timmy. AT ALL. keys were louder than vocals, vocals were louder than timmy, ron seemed too loud and there was no definition in the different drums. back in the back (its bad enough we can\'t smoke inside, but to keep the drinkers at the back? what kind of bizarre marketing strategy is that???) by the bars, it sounded far superior to in front of the soundboard, and by far superior, i mean just better than awful. at least you could hear the damn guitar! not well, mind you, but you could. and i love some of those fast as hell muted, percussive string strums that timmy throws around, but they were completely lost as was anything quiet or mellow. and you could only barely hear the keys.

its a good thing that ron\'s a freakin\' rockstar though! he kept the energy and grooves high all night, and since he was the predominant musician of the night mix-wise, that\'s a really good thing! but i never have a problem with extra ron ! i thought maybe it was just me, i tried moving to different spots, but the end result is that i was outside having a smoke for the end of buquebus and the encore because i couldn\'t hear well enough to become engaged in the show.... which *really* sucks....

now then, that being said, from what i could tell the guys were having a lot of fun and some of the jams seemed amazingly ser!! i got to see a see the light which was all i really wanted to, and i enjoyed it as much as possible, as well as what the funk and drunk monk bar (both of which i haven\'t seen).  second set i don\'t remember as well, simply because i was having such a hard time hearing/getting into the show. the drum solo was incredible, though. that boy\'s like nitrous in a yugo, i tell ya!!!

all in all i had a decent time seeing and meeting folks and hanging out, but the webster can suck my swamp ass for all i care! i can\'t wait to *hear* the breakfast again! 6/8 headlining at the funk box....  until then, i guess i\'ll just have to download! ;)

Yeah well I was waiting for dave to "prep" a Webster section like I told you but I\'ll bust out another one.

Mullet+Da Wah maybe?

P.S" I have started to photoshop the ones of the actual band and have a couple good ones.

I can\'t begin to tell you how much I agree with this. I really don\'t feel like I even experienced a show. How can you have your face melted when you can\'t even remotely hear what is going on? I definetly did not get my fix, and I needed it after the long hiatus.

Bring it to Sully\'s for a make-up!
