I hate to have to exploit this in this manner but I procrastinated for so long and now I must.

I have spent the last 7 years in college and need to get out. I am currently, until tomorrow, in a class about the Holocaust. My final project is to get 20 people to answer the following four questions. It is nothing more then a public opinion poll. Answers are not right nor wrong, it is simply to discover the publics perception on the Jews.

I would greatly appreciate the time and effort anyone puts forward that chooses to help me out here.

I hope that this is not too much thinking. I need this to graduate or I will be offically become a doctorate canidate this time next year.

This is a difficult little subject because as a human race we have been trained to believe the worst about the Jews even though many of us have never truelly even thought about it.

There is no offending people here. It is a poll to capture the perspective that many in our society and world have. Many people that I have asked, in person to take this poll, have refused because they don\'t have the capcity to think outside of their narrow minds.

Jesus, from a historial analytical view could be the GREATEST FICTIONAL character ever created.

Think about this: the bible is over 2000 years old and noone really questions it authenticity, yet, a book like the Di Vinci Code which is a semi fictional account gets beat on because it opposes or shows you a different view.

Well it could be because many people and events in the Bible have been verified in other historical documents written by people OTHER than those that wrote the Bible.
Dan Brown\'s books get hammered because those that hammer it do not realize it is an ADMITTED work of fiction. Dan Brown writes great stories that build on PARTS of the Biblical history that have been downplayed by the Church as heretical writings. These "heretical" writings have ALSO been verified in other histories. That\'s why they are downplayed and vilified by the Church. These writings seem to be in direct contradiction to Catholic teachings over the past millenium and are perfect fodder for a best sellling book.

As for those that refused your poll in person why would that make them incapable of thinking outside their narrow minds? Maybe they just did not want to take part in a poll or maybe they felt these issues are private and have no place in a public poll. Maybe they felt that you may use the information for no good. Heck there\'s a bunch of reasons why they may not have taken your poll.

Oh and we have been trained as a human race to believe the worst about the jews? WHAT? how do you figure? Maybe in America it has been prevalent to think the worst of jews but the human race? That\'s sounding pretty Joe to me.
