Pearl Jam Canada tour
« on: April 26, 2005, 01:47:47 pm »
Just incase people were wondering, Pearl Jam announced a canada tour for the fall.  I\'m thinkin about hittin up Montreal but gonna wait to see if they announce a US tour which i\'m sure they will, just might not be a summer one.

almost put in for montreal tix this morning, but i think i might pass.. tickets are fucking expensive - they better not be that much when they do their US tour.

i was also thinking to myself, do they really need this $$ 5 months in advance??

think it\'s too late to announce a US summer tour since they already have plans for the fall?  I hope we get a summer one, although i don\'t know where they will play around boston cause the sound at the fleetcenter sux and they got banned from the tweeter center

i was hoping for a summer tour myself, but i don\'t know at this point.. though like i said, it does seem really early (to me) to sell tickets (let alone announce) a september tour.. i dunno.

i do know that if US tix are $52.50 +$fees, i\'m gonna be seeing a helluvalot less PJ than i did last time around. :(

Are the canada shows that much????  These prices are getting out of control.  were you at night 3 of that tweeter center run?  that acustic set could have been the greatest thing i\'ve ever seen

i can\'t *believe* those tickets are so expensive... i remember paying $25 for 5th row at the meadows in 98 -- and i thought that was steep -- but $52 ?? thats just unheard of... what happened to these guys? they used to be all about cheap tickets.... i saw them at the fleet center back in september and i think it was like $40 or so... which isn\'t too horrible i suppose.

crossin\' my fingers for a cheaper US tour :P

1.Thank god they\'re not touring us this summer, don\'t think we could afford it :(. No plans for canada, probably just new england area when they tour.
2. wtf with the 52$???? PJ usually had a decent price on it... It\'s a disease,... and they\'re all green

i can\'t say i\'d gladly pay more for anything, really.. the face value on those tickets was $39.50, which sounds about right to me.

though there was a pretty decent range in prices for \'03 PJ tickets.. looking at my stubs, i\'ve got a $36 albany ticket, and a $43 camden ticket..

still, this $50+ crap better not be the standard for a US tour..

btw, welcome aboard! ;)

agree. I stand by my policy of having never scalped a ticket and being proud of it. I paid the face for both nights of msg and had great seats both nights. dont support scaplers or ticket agencies! Will I still go see pj tour? yes, but at 55 a ticket, I will do that many less shows.
