before the worcester show i was telling my friend i hope they dont play fresh cut, turns out the played it that night and again at nectar\'s.  i know a lot of people get mad pumped with fresh cut, but it\'s all a matter of opinion.  i think dig, no glove, and great big firey ball are all great songs.

Fresh Cut is the first new breakfast original in some time.... its like that old analogy that if you eat oyster crackers all day every day of your life and then someone gives you a box of ritz....shit those ritz are gonna be the best tasting shit you ever tasted....(love the eddie murphie version of that one)  classic...
anywho....
However, I dont think we will have to wait as long as we did for new material....

it\'s definitely catchy and sticks in my head at various times; but somehow it has this "credits rolling" "thanks and have a good night" kind of vibe to me... like the show\'s got to end at some point.  I suppose it\'s growing on me a bit but still is my least fav.

is there a thread for favorite breakfast songs?  it would be kinda weird to have a least favorite song thread only.

A personal superlative thread has a tendency to resurrect itself on a semi-annual basis.

It usually includes one\'s top-5 and bottom-5 Breakfast songs as well as one\'s picks for top-5 and bottom-5 cover songs played by The Breakfast.

for me in just depends on how much they play it. beef barley seems to pop up almost every show. I know if I went like 10 shows without beef i would miss it. would go like this
1. fairy
2. no glove

food for thought now that is just crazy not to like that one, i respect everyones thoughts

i was surprised to see The Chase as someone\'s pick too, very surprised actually
The crickets and the rust-beetles scuttled among the nettles of the sagethicket. "Vamanos amigos," he whispered, and threw the busted leather flintscraw over the loose weave of the saddlecock. And they rode on in the friscalating dusklight.  --Eli Cash
