no shit leith! thats crazy!
The crickets and the rust-beetles scuttled among the nettles of the sagethicket. "Vamanos amigos," he whispered, and threw the busted leather flintscraw over the loose weave of the saddlecock. And they rode on in the friscalating dusklight.  --Eli Cash

I thought last night was flippin fantastic.  The set list looks pretty good but it really is even better than what it looks like because they were on fire. The crowd was thin for g-ville, but not lame, at least not in the front. Jordan was going nuts the whole show and tim was doing the same so it was a lot of the two of them taking turns freaking out. They both ripped it up and did as much crazy shit as I have ever seen them do at a show. Drunk monk opener was ragin, perfect way to start off a night at zaqcour. The peaches jam was outa control. Every jam they played all night was solid as hell and they peaked out like a fuckin mad man. The 2001 was riddiculous. Best version ever. I dont know what else to say ...just download this shit and listen for yourselves. Can\'t wait for utica next week!

I love the interplay that is growing between the breakfast themselves and with the crowd.  Really makes for a unique and amazingly different night each night, no matter what tunes are or are not played.  Nothing funnier than Timmy fucking goofin on stage...Unless its Timmy + Jordan "freakin out".

Looks like a fantastic setlist along with confirmed insane energy from the band and crowd.  To me a breakfast Drunk Monk Bar show opener is basicially equivilant to a phish PYITE show opener.....

yea i have never experienced a band that feeds off crowd energy so heavily as the brekafast. They suck it all in and breath it back out as fire.

yeah they do.  its amazing how a crowd can affect the show like it does, as i mentioned before the Boston and Providence shows last month was a great example.  Boston- chatty, kinda lame crowd- good show, but nothing crazy.  Providence- rowdy, and excited crowd- insane show.

OK folks. Sorry this 1 has taken so long to get on BT. It will be up around 7PM and I will post when I have it all squared away.

The show was very interesting. When Kyle and I arrived the band out numbered the folks in the bar and I kind of thought it was gonna be just us (and it almost was). Anyway by the time the band took the stage the place filled in a little. As the night wore on the attendance grew and I actually had to play defense for the mics a few times :) The first set F-ing ripped. jam > What The Funk > In Memory Of Elizabeth Reed > Wake Up In A Coma > Drum Solo > In Memory Of Elizabeth Reed This was SICK. The Liz reed was 1 of the best I have EVER seen Period (incl. the Almans etc). The 1st transition into was a little off but that was it. The whole thing just smoked in and out of it. The 2nd set was great. Tough to beat the first set but was solid all around and the band had this agressive tone to them, Jordan was doing some really cool stuff with his effects and it makes for some very trippy listening.

The Big story of this show I think is Set # 3. It really want an encore at all. The band finished 2nd set and that was it. On a normal night we would have been packed up and in the car already but we were BS\'ing with Dobbs and Chris and Ron etc. Now we were almost done packing up the rig. the band had been off the stage for roughly 20minutes or more when Dobbs says They are gonna do another 30minutes. Well we had to scramble fast just to get 1 rig setup (we had the AKG\'s and the Beyers, my laptop, JB3 and 2 DATS) Just as the are about to go we started rolling again (hurray).

Thank GOD we did. 2001 > Superbad > 2001, The Vermont Song. And man was it off the hook. In the Vermont Song (best ever ?) The band got really Bluesy and Tim started doing these vocalizations that he was mimicing (sp?) on the guitar. Very much like the old blues players used to do. It was about this time that Kyle, Chris, Dobbs, Crimsonknuckles, and myslef all looked at eachother with that blown away look on our face. Classic.
