OK, maybe I jumped the gun a little on that prior statement. There are still 11 games left in the month and they still have to play the Mets, Tigers, Red Sox and the Royals.

The next 11 games should be interesting.

They Yanks are finally playing like the 200 Million they are worth!
Love many, trust few and don\'t be late.

well, the games still count, last i checked, and i can say, as a yankees fan, that i haven\'t been this excited about baseball in may for quite some time. for the first time in a long time, the regular season games actually have some meaning to yankee fans, and i\'m finding myself watching more games than ever..

Some meaning? LOL You mean it\'s interesting because they are not in 1st Place by a bunch of games? Welcome to most baseball fans\' May routine.

LOL, as a Yankees fan we are not use to this in May at all. I too have watched more games this year so far then before. I am just glad to see that the $200 million payroll isn\'t being completely wasted. Just good to see them winning some games.

It looks good for the Yankees this weekend, especially if they can play solid baseball for the remainder of the Detriot series. It would be nice to be riding a momentum wave going into the series with the Red Sox. Seems like no matter how good the Yankees are at any given time, the Red Sox have a way of hurting them. They always play them really hard. Having a 4 game winning streak going into Friday nights game would be ideal. Johnson vs. Wakefield. Yankee stadium. This one is already making up to be a classic. However, Johnson has NOT been everything that we fans have expected. I hope to see him come around but it might be better to trade him and bring in some younger talent. Look what has happened since they brought that kid Robinson Cano in. Just have to wait and see.

Who the hell is Chien-Ming Wang? and why is he in pinstripes?

I hope they hold on to him.

Well the reason why it\'s such a big thing when yanks and sox meet is because you never know what\'s gonna happen, in terms of baseball or fans getting beat up by players, who knows...

I thought they would have held on to Alfonso Soriano too. Robinson Cano is worth keeping. I think he will develop quite nicely.

Ya but soriano wasn\'t as close to a rookie as cano is.  Cano has more sentimental value...now lets hope they don\'t trade him...
