The consistant question for years in my mind, "what is the best breakfast show you\'ve (me) ever seen?"
The consistant answer, "the last one I was at"
and this statement couldn\'t possibly be more true after this Porters show. The scene was HEADY. New and old faces abounded. The new look Porters was great, and the band just ripped the shit out of the place......
If you see Spaceys Porters stats page, you will see my plea for someone to print out the list of never been played tunes and bring em to the band....well kudos to Freddiewaht for taking the initiative in doing so.
The See The Light>Attraction>See The Light was SICK. And there was also a PacMan tease right before the Pop Goes The Weasel in Doughboy. Legend Of A Mind was a blast from the past and the best version by the band I have heard live. SER-ASS Cut Me Some Slack taboot..... and of course the Second Set was a MONSTER!!!!!
But my super duper highlight of the show was the Great Big Jam. They built this up into a jam that I have never ever heard the breakfast play like before. The jam was improvised but structured. It went places and Timmy controlled the entire thing. He was Trey-like in his guiding the music and most notably in the Great Big Jam. I cannot wait to hear that, which will go down (for the moment) as the best Breakfast in-song jam I have ever heard.....EVER)
Adrian was an ANIMAL. He was playing like a man obssesed. I have never ever seen him play so fast and hard the whole night. UNREAL! AMAZING! FUCKING SER!
