I\'m so glad I made it last night....didn\'t think I was going to until the last minute.
My favorite song of the night had to be "Score"....I can\'t believe how sturdy Ron is during that song....from beginning to the end. With Ronny\'s playing aside I think, IMO, that was one of the best Scores I\'ve ever heard/seen.
Once agian the boys came through with an amazing show.
So the world is spinning faster.

Wow.  Powerful first set followed by off-the-chart energy right off the bat in set II.  Inverted STL > ATSD sandwich was the turning point of the show, never looked back from here.  Legend of a Mind was quite large and Doughboy worked well in the closer spot.  Set II was just so in your eye.  Mind-melting Buquebus.  Fuckin mind-melting.  My jaw was on the floor just like Hood\'s friend\'s jaw.  (Love those first-timer stories!)  The set never let up thorugh the finish.  Hot damn.  Nice to see everyone as always.

so when is this show, along with the Oneonta, gonna be on the archive?? i believe Wah said that 3/19 was the "hands down best show ever" (his opinion) the day after, and once again it seems like last night was in competition with every other show since Toad\'s as \'the best,\' this is getting to be ridiculous. sooo, lets download em!
The crickets and the rust-beetles scuttled among the nettles of the sagethicket. "Vamanos amigos," he whispered, and threw the busted leather flintscraw over the loose weave of the saddlecock. And they rode on in the friscalating dusklight.  --Eli Cash

Boy was I blown away. The biggest difference for me was the fact this was the first time I had seen them in C.T. The energy level was one step up higher. I would have have to agree this was the best show. They seem to just get better and tighter every show. Just when you thought they could not top it they do, in many different ways. I just really enjoyed the set up. There is no stage really. They are right there on the floor with ya. Some great parts of the songs that really stand out when a large group of people know the music. Matt finally, Chris thanks again so far so good.

Wow!!! Only my second show at Porters but what can I say?

:::WOW::: (again) Most impressive imo was Adrian and the freaking energy that was just reverbating from his set-up right from the start. Obviously the rest of the kids were far from shabby but I was just FLOORED by his drumming last night.

Great music, great peeps and a great time were had by not only myself from what I read and really wish I could have gone up to Montréal and played the role as translator for the sure to be floored frenchies but hey...

More dates up north are sure to come if they burn down the Swimming like they they did @ porters.

Théo.

I\'m glad to see that other people think the same as I do at the end of EVERY show.  :jawdrop:
