i agree 100%.. i dont want to have a dousche bag label for this fanbase b/c of something like this.. id rather go down in glory with a west side story fight>> we\'d be sharks and the \'Umphreaks\' could be the jets. or vice vera, i dunno, you det my drift.

whats even the point of casting 1 million votes? now theres zero validity to any of it, including the hours of voting me and others have put in.

At this point it\'s about pride! We put many clicks into this, so why not follow through. So what if it doesn\'t mean something to anyone else, it means alot to us, no? I think a serious fan statement is being made by all of us, saying that the Breakfast deserve more respect from the jamband scene. A few days ago, The Breakfast were ranked #28 now we are almost at the top! Everyone who views jambands.com, will certainly be saying that they need to hear who the Breakfast are and will be wondering why they jumped so high so quick. Even if no one else cares or notices, we the fans now have made a statement that we are dedicated to this group of fine musicians. Besides, the Breakfast aren\'t your typical jamband! ;)

What I want to know is which one of you hooligans stuffed the ballot for the vote on "Which one of these bands has a name that makes you cringe when you tell you\'re friends you\'re going to see them?"  "Psychedelic Breakfast" came in 5th!  If you don\'t beleive me click here

http://www.jambands.com/Jambands250/archive_results.phtml?page=&qid=1076340726

String Cheese won in a huge landslide, followed closely by The Disco Biscuits, Phish, Widespread Panic, moe., Psychedelic Breakfast, Ekoostic Hookah, Leftover Salmon, Wookie Foot, and the Big Wu...

You know, I\'ve never thought about it, but now that I step back and think about it, I\'ve got to admit that everyone of those band names is absolutely retarded.  (Except Psychedelic breakfast of course.)  Jambands really do have some awful names in the circuit.  And I didn\'t even mention #11: Umphrey\'s McGee.

Obviously we don\'t care, as long as the band is nasty.

hmmm, good point about a million being too many. I\'ve changed it to 3000. Considering I ran it earlier at 1000 and it still didn\'t move 1/10th of a percent until later in the day, this should just about do it. And it\'ll be easier on the server too.

wolfman, good point and research on that poll...

i once told people about PB and they were like that\'s the worst name ever, I just shrugged it off and said I don\'t go to see them because of their name, it\'s the music they make that pulls me in. There is a lot in a name if your trying to sell it commericially. Change is for the betta most times...

Now that is too funny, I actually watched that movie a couple of weeks ago.  The first 30 minutes were genius but man did it fall off after that.  We turned it off well before it was over.

the movie pretty much sucks as a whole, but i would have to say i loved when harold and kumar went hangliding and the fact that doogie houser was in the movie (he got sort of cute over the years)

Yeah, nothing like seeing one of your childhood heroes rolling face on ecstacy.  If Mary Kate or Ashley ever make a movie where they\'re ripping bong hits, I would think that was hot.

Oh yeah, VOTE!

I gotta say that I\'ve lost any motivation to vote now that people are using wacky bots and stuff to vote thousands of times.  My sweet, innocent little click is useless now.
