IMHO,

this poll will mean nothing as to who plays at the Jammy\'s when all is said and done.. Joe Schmo could be #1 on the list, the bottom line is he\'s not gonna play at the Jammy\'s unless THEY want him to.

if anything, the B\'fast being up top will be good because lots of people will see the name. if they want the B\'fast to play there, they\'ll play there..

It looks good to have the band on the top. Peopl viewing the jambase webpage will be intrigued by the Breakfast making incredible leaps and bounds. It\'s free publicity of sort and it just gets the name out there. I don\'t know if we were all doing it to get the band to play as we were just trying to come out on top! So what if they don\'t play atleast we beat out the others and now have a reason to complain if they don\'t play or something...i don\'t know anymore... :)

I remember trying a similar feat a few years back when we wanted Psychedelic Breakfast to leap into the top-10 most searched for bands on the front page of jambase.com.

So Cruz does that script work so we can just bomb this voting nonsense out of the water. Hell if George B can do it.

if the designer of the Jammy\'s site didnt program it to where each IP could only vote once that is their problem.

dude, i love these fans.. i wouldve quoted 30 posts in this thread that actually made me laugh my ass off, but just wanted to say im glad i joined this fucking team. its time we take over damn it!  i signed up for PT a couple days ago and already cant stand being on it.
anyways, i think it would be kind of stupid to take over by a landslide, TB might lose their validity if its so obvious and people know/find out what happened. im still all for letting my mouse-index-finger bleed and win through straight up effort. if its gradual and we take the top spot people will definitely wonder who the fuck these guys are, "why havent i heard them yet?"  did you set up that thing yet Cruz, cuz if not lets have a poll and just take the greater halfs opinion.

Fuck it, I really feel that way. It\'s not hard to put in code to say

if referralpage is not
on jambands.com
then
re-direct to the poll page on jambands.com

or add the IP to the database. Or set up a cookie. Or require you to log in. There\'s tons of reasons why.

I\'m putting this up on a site, when you open it it will cast 1million votes for the breakfast, you just gotta let it run. When it\'s done it\'ll say so, so let it go all night.

http://spectrum.compactvision.net/votebreakfast.php

The site doesn\'t have my name anywhere on it (even though it is mine, I keep anonymity on this site for a reason if you read any of the rants I put on there) and it\'s a sub, so unless they subpeona the host (which will never happen). I think we\'re ok.

Have fun kids.

whats even the point of casting 1 million votes? now theres zero validity to any of it, including the hours of voting me and others have put in.

Evil, but the most respectable thing that has been done! By tomorrow we will own this fucking poll! Jambands will probably be completely pissed off when there is 5 million plu votes for The Breakfast tomorrow.

The world will soon know... :hehehe:

5 million votes will probably equal a 99% rating, which in turn will bring a bad name to the band, in my opinion, keep the fingers goin yea, beat the system, but millions? cmon now. . .

[QUOTE...this is the greatest effort i have seen since harold and kumar went to white castle[/QUOTE]

Now that is too funny, I actually watched that movie a couple of weeks ago.  The first 30 minutes were genius but man did it fall off after that.  We turned it off well before it was over.
