so good too, the vocals just sound perfect on Bona Fide.
The crickets and the rust-beetles scuttled among the nettles of the sagethicket. "Vamanos amigos," he whispered, and threw the busted leather flintscraw over the loose weave of the saddlecock. And they rode on in the friscalating dusklight.  --Eli Cash

just got in a full listen of real radio on the way home from Providence this afternoon. having heard the songs live before the album my opinions are based off of the live performances, however, the album does justice for every song on it. For some reason or another Sleeping Beauty chorus has been stuck in my head. Score is unreal with the musical guests, a ser verison. And there is nothing wrong with the Scheme to end the album. Overall every song has something positive coming off this album. Very pleased!
Have the Breakfast ever played a concert with a horn section? Can possibly make them even more funkier!
Love many, trust few and don\'t be late.

La Bouche, very obscure.  I like it.

Not with an entire horn section.....various guests on horns through the years...james albis, wolfy, etc...

I think there should have been horns at Toads.  I was also expecting to see that notation on the Middle East Downstairs setlist.

i\'m going to go out on a limb and say Vera Street.

it\'s not my favorite song on RR. that would be between TGSOT/NR/D5. but this isn\'t about favorite songs, it\'s about favorite tracks on the album, and for me, i really think it\'s Vera Street. here\'s why...

back when the song made its debut, many of you were raving about it. so much so that it almost made me ill.. ;) i was never into it, and always used to just brush it off as a ballad that i didn\'t wanna hear.

fast foward to 2004-2005. the song has evolved, and while i still don\'t particularly like hearing it live, i absolutely love what they did with it in the studio. i think it sounds amazing and beautiful, and really shows off their songwriting abilities. for me, the studio is exactly what this song is needed, and i can now listen to it in a whole new light.

a close runner-up for me is Sleeping Beauty. another song that i\'ve never been a big fan of, and i didn\'t particularly like the early studio version that appeared on the sampler. but the final version really does it for me, and there\'s so many added dimensions to the studio version that makes me like it much more than the live version. great work on this tune.

i do have to express some *slight* disappointment with Score. see, i think Score *should* be my favorite track on the album. i really wanted it to be, because the addition of the horns takes this song to a whole new level. and the horns are absolutely perfect.. definite ToP feel.. however, i don\'t think the playing of the band matches the playing of the horns very well on Score.. the horns on Score are super tight, and i just feel that the band played too loose. i think the end result was good, but could have been great..

now, before this turns into an album review, i\'m gonna stop. :)

I had Vera St. checked before going with Doughboy as my favorite track...
I will never forget hearing it for the first time at the Webster Theater some time ago...
I really thought it was an obscure McCartney cover....

Unfortunately, Amazon has not sent me my copy yet... I hope to get it any day now.  As far as all the SONGS are concerned, I think Gravity is by far my favorite.  All of the recent versions I\'ve heard have been top notch stuff.  As far as what song i would like to hear on the radio, I think IG would be the best choice.... I\'ve been saying that this is the song that will help them "blow up".  Vera St is another good one for what it is... not my favorite style of Breakfast, but great as far as ballads go... the lyrics are pretty good, but the one line about intoxicating our sexual side is kinda cheeseball.
