If you guys are going to this show, you should make plans to goto Raleigh that Sunday... only about 2 hours away!
Joc... leave the dog... dogs at shows = not cool.
I was kidding about the dog- my point was that I can\'t go to festivals easily any more because it\'s hard to find people to take care of her (and the horses, cat, lizards, and snakes.)
However... I have brought her to a few musical events, and she has been a very happy bouncy dog. Don\'t go telling me it\'s cruel- if the dog has shade and water and isn\'t in front of a speaker with its ears being blown out, I don\'t see what the big deal is. It\'s not like I would tie her up somewhere and leave her, or let her wander around dirty and skinny like those "lot" peoples\' dogs.... I\'m not like that. I realize that owning animals is a responsibility and a commitment.
My dog goes everywhere with me- to work most days and to every riding competition I go to. She would get more time with me and more attention from me at a show than at a riding competition. Maybe my briging her with me to riding competitions = not cool then? Well, at least I\'m not alone- there is practically a dog for every competitor at most places....
Also- I wouldn\'t bring a dog to a festival for 3 DAYS- that would be too intense for her, obviously. But if it was a one day, outdoor thing, like the last time (Sadie and) I saw pb on the green in whatever town that was, I don\'t see what the big deal in bringing her would be. As long as I clean up after her, heh...
