Paul Simon can def. write one hell of a song, but the pairing of Simon/Garfucknel gets annoying if not awkard after a a few moments of cringing. Once they split, Simon accomplished much to admire.  "Graceland" is a fine example.  (flame on) la la la la la la la

I guarantee when all of you hear the Sounds of Silence or Homeward Bound on the radio, you all start singing along like a bunch of sissies.

I\'ll be the first one to admit loving the canon of songs that the 2 men created together. I like much of Paul\'s work seperate from Art but the 2 of them together create a beautiful sound which can not be duplicated by anyone. Yeah being raised on the stuff may make me biased but since when has that stopped me from givin\' my 2 cents?

Well yeah it IS funny. Sorry \'bout that wagon ride. Someday the rest of the country will catch up w/ Cali. It is pretty neat to be able to list Marijuana as a Medicine you are currently taking which I just did in applying for some supplemental insurance.

I love love love S&G and was really moved when I saw them in concert lastyear or whenever that was... I agree that Paul was the driving fore behind the duo, wrote most (but not all!) of the good songs and was certianly more musical... But something about the way the two of their voices blend gives me goosebumps.

Also, I find their lyrics to be often beautiful and poetic without being cheesy or trite. The boys could take some pointers in that category. (Although they are getting better...)

I BOO RR Marketing. Anyone know where a list of stores actually carrying this album can be found?

I went to Tower and have been telling people to p/u RR but no one can find it. It is not in Tower\'s catalog AT ALL!!!!. This is HORRIBLE!!!!!!!

I can only direct people to the website or Amazon.com, many of my friends laugh as they should when i do this. The response most commonly heard " Not even @ Tower Records man" yeah they\'re really breaking big." Sooo glad I did not trust that this album would be readily available for purchase @ retail stores and got mine early. Anyway a list of stores that carry this album would help me promote the band out here on the West Coast so if anyone has one........

you should tell the folks at tower records that they should order it for you and your friends who would love to provide them with business.

U think I didnt? I asked and got the typical response of " I\'ll see what I can do."  So I went to my car and got the cd for him to copy any info he needed. So we\'ll see.

I just think it\'s B.S. for me to be hyping the new album to folks and then it\'s no where to be found. Really helps when I than want to get them to actually see the band I can hear it now" You sure they\'re actually gonna be playing?"etc.....
