Wonder if mine is the first copy of RR to hit Europe??

I\'m sure you are free to make the claim.  However, I do remember seeing a 2nd British guy (you are the original Eurofan) registered on here.  I also recently noticed a guy that was logging on from Germany.

Have communicated with the British guy, who has an even larger Breakfast collection than me as he\'s downloaded all the mp3s from lma, rather than the larger flac/shn files. Maybe we\'ll get a European fanbase going.

Woke up this morning with Gravity stuck in my head for some reason. Then later, I began singing Fresh Cut - brain is now officially addled by RR. Will have to play it again en route to k-dub/particle tomorrow.

guys im a little confused... way back when i joined here i asked about tunes that i should use to break people into the band. two songs that were voted upon by everyone were Inner Glimpse and Doughboy, and someone went on to say, "Definitely those two, anything Adrian sings." ive been living a lie damn it! i feel retarded, but hey i havent seen them yet so i cant hold it against myself.

anyways, this album is definitely good at first listen. i need to let it grow on me, though. i also need to get past my subconscious comparisons to Deuce. TGSOT is phenomenal, definitely my favorite track right off the bat. Score also grabbed me, the horns sound great and i love the tune more and more every time i hear it. i also dig Fairy a lot too, although i think they couldve had a better vocal take somewhere along the line? oh, and the drums sound absolutely incredible on the entire album. not just the playing, but the sound quality is perfect, adrian\'s snare has such a crisp tone. i know this is out of order but sleeping beauty is sooo polished and interesting, i really like what they did with it in the studio. gravity sounds nice, but with all the crazy live takes lately (3.12!) it\'s kind of hard to really get into a studio version at the moment. and the only song i just dont really like still is vera street. i know they did a fine job producing it, and the music is definitely good, but i cringe a little every time the \'la la la la la las\' come in. sorry, just a tad corny for my taste.
but overall its still an album made by the best right now, and barring all expectations i had (while waiting for what seemed like years for this shit) its definitely great.

Having made my wife "suffer" (her words, not mine) the RR party last week, played her the first few songs on the album today - she was la la la-ing along with Vera St first listening and then tapping along to Sleeping Beauty. As far as I\'m concerned, I have struck a major blow in the battle for acceptance of my "weird noise" - will have to try her on the later songs now.

Incidentally, she likes the Beatles and S&G! :)
