The degree of improvement would depend on what you have to play them on. If you a good quality 24 bit DAC these will have a more detailed sound.

freddie, you have a 16 bit sound card, so you cant play these on your computer and they do not play in any cd player.
there is no reason not to put these on archive.org. do they accept 24 bit flac files? i have never seen any.
