Anyone watching the new Galactica?
« on: January 22, 2005, 02:17:44 am »
I am a HUGE fan of the original Battlestar Galactica. When the mini-series came out last year I was very very skeptical. I mean Starbuck as a woman? Apollo a wuss? I gave it a chance and now wait all week for friday nights episode. It is a really good series that builds on the same basic story of the original w/ waaaaaaaay better effects and acting. If you like Sci-Fi u should check it.

Also been watching Galactica too - bring back Dirk Benedict!! On the whole, it\'s not bad, though not sure about Boomer as a Cylon! Am also getting into Stargate:Atlantis for the comedy - Rodney is brilliant and as for the token "Scottish" guy, it\'s Star Trek all over again.

Yeah Richard Hatch is on let\'s see Dirk in Season 2. Hey Andy is it true they ran the 1st season in the U.K. before they ran it over here to test the reception it would recieve? Stargate:Atlantis is good for only that comedy. TV Sci Fi seems to be in resurgance(sp?) that is a good thing.

We are still on the first season of BG here - don\'t know how far through it we are in comparison to you though - we had the epi this week where they had nominations for Vice President. Won\'t say more if you haven\'t seen it yet. Does that give you a reference point? I can\'t remember when the pilot was shown, it was a while ago.

Still the Best Sci- Fi on TV hands down. The past 3 episodes have been great. The season finale nxt week should prove to be quite thrilling!

All of you that have failed to watch this program will eventually realize the mistake you made.
The last season opened last night with a bang and this season will solidify this series\' place as the best Sci- Fi ever to be on TV.
