Terry let\'s get a Break-Fest going for over the summer...What does everyone think of that idea.  Two nights of Breakfast(3 sets a night), plus side-projects, other bands, etc., vendors,sponsors,etc...FUN...FUN...FUN!
Too fat for a tandem bike, and too drunk for a Mountain Bike...taste the fear.

Sounds like a good idea!

I wouldn\'t want to subsidize the costs of Freddie and Steve\'s booze if I was straight edge.

May actually be easier for Terry to plan a show without forecasting alcohol purchases and consumption.

but if there is no alcohol provided will as many people show up?  the local kids might not show up if there is no alcohol provided and there needs to be anough money to pay the band and rent the hall.

if I cut out the open bar this next time and the same amount of people showed up then I\'d still need to charge $17 per person just to break even.

that\'s a big part of it.  I\'d say about 40-50 people who showed up last time were friends of friends from the area who probably wouldn\'t have come just to see the band.

$20 open bar is a good deal in Fairfield County.   I think I could get a fair amount of people there even without a band as long as there is unlimited drinks.

so I will need to have the band and the open bar.  that\'s the only way I can draw enough people to pay for the hall.

that would be cool.  but the summer festival market has been flooded the last few years.   I don\'t know how well a Break-fest would do and wouldn\'t want to be the one to find out the hard way if it turns out to be a bad idea.

I didn\'t realize that the show would be $17 without the alcohol.  Definitely keep it in that case.

Looking forward to a future party!

just my two cents, I have been to many festivals and none interest me anymore. But I must say a break-fast one would be great, I would think maybe somthing outside? camping? A nice family atmosphere??? just a thought maybe a different approach.
