I can\'t wait for the new album.. I\'ve been bumping the sampler ever since I dlded it from the site.  i think this will be their best and hopefully will put them over the top.

Funny little story, my friend Ethan was over one night and I told him I got the Trey/Herbie tracks. I then proceeded to play him "Inner Glimpse" and somehow convinced him it was Herbie and Trey. Funny night.

I hope they don\'t take out Tim\'s vocal intro to "Sleeping Beauty".  I find it to be disturbingly haunting:)

so are ronnie and jordan ok to stay in the band now, or do you still think they should be replaced by members of uncle sammy?

I\'m not getting in the middle of old arguments but I personally having not seen any Mokijam,Diesel Experiments or any number of side projects can not imagine these 4 guys playing with anybody else but each other. The magic created by these 4 particular guys is astounding and rare to sustain.

Wow, can\'t believe people knew I said that.  Geez.

Actually after hearing the demo I was just floored, thinking, "finally the chemistry has really formed into something solid".  I guess I just had this musical vision in my head, dream lineup so to speak.  No offense to Jordan or Ron, I\'ll always have a lot of respect for them as people (always humble and nice) and their talent (which surpasses most of the jamband scene with flying colors).

Only "most"?? Speaking as an outsider as it were, not raised on any prejudices about who and who not to listen to, I can safely say The Breakfast are the best band on the scene - period; hugely talented, far more inventive and original than anyone else around - and I speak as a big fan of the dead, phish, sci, biscuits, moe, uncle sammy, tea leaf green, mule, panic etc. etc. In general music terms too, they are the band I listen to most and I have literally thousands of Cds/albums.

And as for Ron being replaced - absolutely no way. Just listen to the way he drives the band along, especially on the newer material. Jordan\'s keys too are an integral part of the band, let alone his vocals.

Just my two Etros worth.

Well, I half and half agree with you on that.  TB holds many musical charachteristics that you won\'t find anywhere else, for instance the fact they actually take chances by composing progressive anthems (ie Mooboos, GSOT, Tribal) and on top of that their songwriting has evolved into something that has just floored me.

Awhile back I felt that there needed to be a new direction for the band, of coarse this is me just putting dream bands together in my head. I felt their needed to be more thickness in Ron\'s playing and less muddiness in Jordan\'s.  However, I had no idea how much they evolved since I last heard them, JESUS F\'IN CHRIST!!  I don\'t listen to any jambands anymore sans TB, but there are many talented folks out there, but I guess I do agree with you BoomBox, TB owns all dem beatches...
