A couple cheesy phrases and some annoying dancing at shows did them in.

Darn hippies.

You\'re not one of them Jocelyn.  Some people get completely into the groove and dance accordingly and I believe you fall into this category.  There are others who try their hardest (no one I know from this forum but generally they are prevalent at jam shows) to become part of the scene and try some heady dances to follow the status quo, looking totally foolish in the process.  There were some good examples of this at the Iron Horse show.  I can tell when things looked forced on the dance floor.

Can\'t wait to get down next Wed.!

alex, i can\'t say that there\'s anything that annoys me more than people who "try some heady dances to follow the status quo, looking totally foolish in the process," as you so wonderfully put it. it\'s just so pathetic.

as for the article, i haven\'t seen it in print yet. i hope it came out ok. can\'t wait to see the photos, todd!!

Well I am glad that I know where all the cool kids are. They are the ones who spend their time at Breakfast shows judging what others are doing instead of listening to the fucking music!

If someone paid to go to a Breakfast show and is out shakin it who cares if they look like they are trying or not. At least their moving around instead of tlaking over the band and they are having a good time.  maybe you guys should worry less about what others are doing to have a good time and more about your very judgmental attitutdes

right on! Nothing puts a smile on my face faster than seeing some kid whos never heard the band just getting down and going nuts - it reminds me of my first show.

(however, I do privetly enjoy watching people try to dance to enchidna\'s arf that have never heard the song before) :P
