Is anyone familiar with Tower or Power?  They are playing in S.F. while I am out there this coming weekend.  I have heard a few of their tunes and like their brand of amped up funk.

Mother Earth had a limited catalogue.

Stoned Woman - 1992 is very 70s funky
The People Tree - 1993 - the breakthrough album
You Have Been Watching - 1995 - nearest they came to rock - even has a Small Faces cover - my favourite album. Available with SW as a twofer.
The Desired Effect - Live album from 1996

All on Acid Jazz records

You are The healer - Matt Deighton\'s solo disc - very folky (Done 3 or 4 others)

If you can find it, there\'s a ME budget compilation CD called Riot on 103rd Street which has a good cross-section, including the 1993 Mr Freedom EP  and some singles. It\'s a Music Club release from Music Collection International ltd MCCD 367

The "proper" albums are all available at Amazon - have a listen to the samples. BTW the above are the only albums - amazon lists 77 results for ME, but these are the only ones you want!!

Stoned Woman is an awesome album.  I was listening to it this evening.  Good vocals, funky organ driven songs and some interested background talk/messages by a British dude.  Still haven\'t listened to You Have Been Watching.

Steely Dan? Their "Reelin\' In the Years" should be in everyone\'s collection! Have a greatest hits which is a good taster. Some nice guitar work throughout, though the band line-up changes very often - Becker & Fagen are always there, but they use many different musicians.

Hey , I listen to umphrey\'s . Don\'t get me wrong The breakfast is still number one in my eyes, But let me tell you the wide variety of covers they play and the way they work them into everything is great. If you are wondering more about them check out there fans site   http://www.umphreaks.com

Just got a couple of Tribal Tech shows. Hard to find, and sound quality seems to be questionable. So I would suggest buying an official release.
