So you say Arroyo or Lowe? Or Pedro on one days rest?
Was that sarcastic? Don\'t question my fandom (that\'s not a word is it?) Pitch! I just don\'t like Wake this year. I know he csn throw a helluva knuckleball.... I just wish there was more consitency.
Pedro... heh, that\'s silly.
I think they probably shouldn\'t have used Arroyo as a relieving pitcher and he SHOULD have started tonight; he can throw a bit o\' heat.
D. Lo? I dunno what to think about him starting tonight. Guess we\'ll see.
So, anyhow, some other comments:
I really don\'t like the Grease Monkey. Send Bellhorn to the PawSox or unload him. Sheesh. HR or no HR last night, he\'s just not very good. Why does he seem to come up so often in the clutch and then blow it? ugh.
Also, I think that the Red Sox fans who are going nuts over Arod\'s interference last night need to chill out. Yes, he is a little bitch. However, get over it. It\'s intersting that that rule even exists... seeing as one can completely charge and trample the catcher when coming home. Can aanyone explain the technicalities of this to me?
Also, the 55,000 NY fans who started throwing things when the safe call was reversed.... come on! Even if he HADN\'T hit Arroyo\'s arm or glove or whatever, he still was quite obviously 2-3 feet to the right of the base when he was originally called safe. If some of those fans couldn\'t see that, they need to get their eyesight checked.
ALSO.... (sigh).... I just want to say that I am not impressed with the television coverage. Too many stupid cheesy little irrelevant clips stuck in. WAY too many replays. (Last night wasn\'t as bad however...) But seriously, I really think there should only be a replay if there was a close/questionable call (ball/strike or safe/out or whatever) or if some impressive or important play is made. For goodness sakes I don\'t need replays of balls throw as high as the batter\'s nose and 3 feet away from him, and I don\'t need a replay every time someone swings and misses. I dunno, maybe they\'re just trying to take up some time. or trying to drive home a "every pitch is crucial" kinda thing. But I think it\'s excessive. Also, I am really really really sick of stupid comments like "Extremely good pitching results in a low scoring game." Gee, thanks buddy. Hire Chris Pitch.
ok that\'s it.
