Which out-of-rotation Breakfast song do you miss the most?

is Za out of rotation? I heard them play it during soundcheck the first night at cafe 9. they sang actual lyrics during the chorus where they usually just repeat apizza, apizza. I havent heard it since, but i assumed it was out of rotation until they finished working on the song.

yeah, i was debating whether to put Za in there or not. it was played 7 times in 2004 (and total; 11% of \'04 shows).. that version of the song isn\'t going to be played again, but the reworked version is coming soon, so... iffy...

A reworked Za would be appreciated.

this is by no means a quote, but heres what I remeber people saying:

Tim and adrian were talking about bugs once, and they said that they were never happy with the arrangement to it. They spent alot of time re-working it and finnaly got a version they though would work. They played that once while on tour, and it was horrible, so they just dropped the song completely.

These are the last times bugs appeared in setlists. Before this, it was always a few times a month. I dont know that there is a copy of 7/9 in circulation, but if there is and this conversation was accurate, then it contains the one time version of bugs.

Exactly.  IMO, Bugs is a WAY better song than Za.

The only version of Za i\'ve heard is from the webster, and it\'s hands down the worst breakfast song i\'ve ever heard........crossing my fingers the reworked version is better

I had to vote Garcian. It was the first PB song that I ever loved although I heard it when they were still Naked Society in the summer of 98. The last time I heard it was during the Tribal>Garcian>Tribal>Garcian>Tribal sandwich from Sully\'s, November 2002, which was played as a result of my semi-joking suggestion to Tim between sets. Of course, they now have several tunes that I like better, but I still feel Garcian has one of their best hooks and I\'m sure there will be fanfare when they dust it off, which I predict will happen on 5/15/05.

A few paraphrased Tim Palms pearls from the Living Room.

Garcian Fishbowl: It\'s not on the shelf (case and point, see: setlist 07/16)

Bugs: I (Tim) have thought about playing it again, but the band never will.

The Late in the Great: It\'s being reworked, but it\'s not a priority.

No "quote" on Frankly Po Zest, but he mentioned it as a possibility for the night\'s set, so it\'s definitely not on the shelf.
