GIAVANNA w/ The Breakfast
« on: June 05, 2004, 12:20:09 pm »
This idea came up in the cabin at Strange Creek. And I thought Todd was gonna post it.

We were thinking that at Baja Bash that our very own pbfans GIAVANNA sing with band on the cover

OF

Pink Floyd - The Great Gig in the Sky!!!!!!!!!

How f-ing sweet would that be!

AIM should be completely independent of your browser. What exactly do you mean by it uses IE ?

are u talking about the "what\'s new " window when you first launch the program  ?

If so you can disable it from loading

Prefs -> sign on/off -> uncheck "show aim.com window at sign on"

if thats what u mean

I will check my laptop when I get Home. I uninstalled IE and only run Mozilla. I will check to see if it is calling on an IE window or not. I know when I run windows update it uses IE (even though it says it is uninstalled, f-ing microsoft)

OK tried again the window was superimposed over AOL window. So it does not use IE but the virus Piggybacks AOL it seems and I get popups. I am using firefox for purposes of surfing now w/ no problems whatsoever. just can not use AIM
