its not even bad. there are usually only a couple there not drinking.  its definately not a consistant group. cliff was just mad and took it out on the first people he saw.

Well I figured Duane would not have made comment if it wasn\'t.  OK well good night  and have fun listening to Tim play acoustic and drinking/nondrinking or eating/not eating. Peace.

I\'ve had dinner at Cliff\'s.....AWESOME. Probably pretty pricey for most of the folks that come to Tim\'s solo night, but well worth every cent.

and here\'s a little tidbit for ya...Cliff pays Tim to be there, so if he wants to charge a couple bucks to be there, so be it. But, I do not condone the attitude he put forth the other night!

paul, i will be returning early on sunday to be home for work so if you were to join us, i WILL be coming home on time for work...think about it :)

I brought a buddy of mine to a Tim show there during Christmas break, and he goes out and eats at restaurants all the time, and we both came to the conclusion that the menu did look pretty awesome, but the prices were not too reasonable. . . I coulda sworn it was $26+ for a Filet but I could be mistaken, that\'s the reason I don\'t / can\'t eat there, even though i havent made an appearance in a long long time. . .

I don\'t think that I\'m going to make it tonight.  Nothing to do with the "cover" situation, for some reason it just feels more like a chore in the grand scheme than a night out.

Chris, If you need that money immediately, I\'ll be at the video store from 1:45 - 6:45 tomorrow, and 9:45 - 6:00 on Friday.  If you can\'t make it there, give me a call.

wait, but you definitely have eaten there if i recall...

Matt & I ate a real sit down dinner there one night before Timmy played, I didn\'t have too many (meatless) choices but did order cream spinach and a salad which were excellent, he had some steaky-dead-cow kind of thing which he seemed to thoroughly enjoy... so i would recommend patronizing the establishment.  cliffs a good guy.

that was in the beginning when cliff was real cool and handed us menus when we walked in asked if we wanted anything. and when we didnt he just gave our table some fries and some salads and didnt even bother to charge us. we ordered drinks though and had a large tab to pay so i guess he was just being nice because we were spending money. now the policy p[retty much is buy something or get out (or pay a cover?). If he is going to be a jerk about it i would rather just pay a cover and be done with it. but if he ever yells at us ever again as soon as we walk in before anyone is even given the chance to order i wont be going back to 232.
