a bass line need not have many notes to be beautiful, it all depends on the note length and placement to make the groove. May I suggest Dotted eights on the downbeat? Perferably a 4th below the main chord voice to give a thicker overall tone to the melody?
The fourth is the best harmony ever written! second place is a close tie between Major seventh, Flat2, flat 6, and of course, flat 13.
yea, yea, I know a flat 13 is no different than a flat 2, but an octave can add alot to a notes tone
