I didnt think i would be able to function today after the 4-30 show.  i was going to the 9 with the assumption that the breakfast would keep me standing.  my assumptions were correct and then some.  definately a bigger and different crowd in the 9 tonight.  here is what i have for a a setlist, but since i inadvertantly missed the WTF between Buquebus and Mooboos, i welcome corrections and additions...........

great doughboy opener call by wah

1st breakfast extras sold over face (nice job all around wolfman)

i loved the sound in and outside the 9 this weekend...
lots of cameras set up.
no pec?

i have said it every time i have seen this band, "every show i see is better than that one before".  i look as this weekend as one big event, but after being so spend after friday night, i wasnt sure what would happen tonight, and bam....they couldnt have followed friday any better than what happened on tonight...........

thanks to cafe 9 for allowing this weekend to happen!

and thanks to the whole breakfast family for keeping me alive and out of jail for the past 48 or so hours....

5:01 am, and once again I am starting the thread.  Wahoo!  Unbelievable show tonight.  Great song selection, better than last night especially Set I vs. Set I.  Need to see the setlist first before the full review, but off the top of my head, amazing set II rufus jam that eventually melted into an amazing Jordan piano solo w/ minimal backup.  (Think Squirming Coil outro.)  Finally brought back the beatbox w/ Superfly, it\'s about time!  Mr. Crowley was awesome.  Heck, everything was awesome!  What a show!

Some major milestones were accomplished last night in terms of band fan activity.  I sold the first ever PB ticket for above face value outside the show.  The ticket was $11.44 including all service charges and taxes, and I sold it for $13.  I thought it was $12.50, but I just went back and checked and it was $11.44, so the record to beat is $1.56 above face value.  After the show, the crowd feasted on the first ever PB veggie burritos, as well as the first lot beer sales, ice cold Sammy Adams.  (Who\'s got my Hartford tickets?)  I think the first night\'s Shakedown Street might have been a foreshadowing!  The burritos sold out in 5 minutes, so in Hartford you can expect a lot more burritos and a much higher price :)

Great to see everyone as always!  All in all a great weekend, see you all at the Bamboozle and Hartford.

Absofuckinlutely AMAZING!
So, worth the drive down, and if I was on the fence about them being my favorite band, I\'m not now.
My two friend\'s really loved it too!
My first live Food For Thought...GREAT!
I could go on and on but it\'s been a long drive back and now I\'m gonna sleep in my new Breakfast shirt.

Great times!   Love the venue, the sound was good, the weather.   People were having fun!

Some really insane jams.  "Score" is just ridiculous....  Superfly was really well done.  Rufus was the bomb!  Everyone was calling for it.

Asscracks was the shit.....  And the drum solo ruled!  Wish I hadn\'t shown up late.

Yeah I wanted to meet you all too. I kept introducing myself to people but everyone was a first timer...weird.
Great time though and I think I\'m gonna make an effort to get to the webster show before I head back west.

Thanks to Dwayne for sacrificing the beginning of the first set for the ride (and overall coordinator of getting me in), Gray for the use of his ID and un-crossed off name on the guest list, and ChrisF for the ride to Wallingford.

(In case anybody is interested, my brother is giving me a ride back to Fairfield today... and my parents weren\'t mad that I randomly showed up at 3am.)
Go see your Breakfast, there are starving Leiths in California

Dude unless you\'re being followed by 4 or 5 cop cars, you\'re parents should never be upset if u randomly show up @ any time, dontcha think?

I have been absent from some area shows of late, but caught both this weekend.  Thoughts:

The band kept flashing me back to 2000, 2001 (which is a very good thing).  Jordan\'s voice has never sounded stronger.  The boys\'  vocals overall show that they have really been working on this area.  Ronny\'s command over his instrument continues to soar - I can\'t believe the growth I\'ve witnessed in him as a musician since the early days of PB.  Tim is really maturing as a performer.  Adrian was a f---ing mutant on those drums from the word go - he still rules.

The word that comes to mind when I think of the shows is satisfying.  We\'ve witnessed some unbelieveable music from this band over the years and the last two nights were right up there for anybody who is newer and might be wondering where those shows rate.  Particularly Saturday for me.
