the keyboardist has lots of sound effects from the game sampled on the keyboard.  the one show i heard they were used a lot and it got distracting after a while because i have heard them so many times over the past 17 or 18 years. Is that normal for an ulu show? They didnt even play the song, but you could hear people chanting super mario brothers during the while show.

has anyone ever played luigi\'s mansion for gamecube? There is one room in the game where some ghosts are playing the original song and you  have to get each one to start playing their instrument to clear the room. its pretty cool because you can listen to each instrument separately if you want or you can listen to only the ones of your choice.

Yeah, mario became pretty popular.  I have heard Ulu, the 2 nintendo cover bands, and the Boston Pops play it.  I think that the castle music would be gret on hammer dulcimer.
