Jerry Seinfeld To Co-Host On WFAN With Steve SomersMar 30, 2004 8:01 pm US/EasternComedian and actor, Jerry Seinfeld, will be a special guest host with WFAN\'s Steve Somers this Thursday, April 1st from 5PM-6PM. The native New Yorker and die-hard Mets and Knicks fan will be joining "The Schmoozer", Steve Somers to talk sports, discuss his upcoming projects and take listener calls.Somers and Seinfeld first met in an Upper East Side grocery store one early morning while both looking for late night snacks. Somers introduced himself and learned that Seinfeld often caught his show on WFAN, and in fact, was an occasional caller to his program. Seinfeld joined Somers in the WFAN broadcast studios for his first live co-hosting stint in June 2000.Somers said of Jerry Seinfeld, "he\'s been a good fan, a friend, and he\'s also been a terrific co-host. Maybe he\'d like to consider a full time position at the FAN some time in the future."
