take it from someone who was there (for 79 anyway) 1973 was the glory year for the grateful dead in terms of the music, the scene, and the energy. awesome soundsytem with really long shows. lot\'s of new songs that were just maturing along with a still youthful but maturing band. i doubt it will cme up on the archive but if the 73 rfk show with abb comes up, it\'s unreal. that\'s alright mama
