The Living Room\'s days are over

The Living Room\'s days are over, imo. I feel that it is time that the Breakfast say good by to the Living Room and move on to a new venue. The Living Room has finaly died folks, its days are over. Anyone who lives with in a hour of Providence knows about the Living Room and won\'t go there! Does the Breakfast deserve to play this shit hole?; No!! They deserve better!!! Be sure to vote, you can make a difference!

There are so many other great venues in Providence that the band can play. Below are a list of these venues.

The Call  - 300 Capacity
Lupo\'s at the Strand  - 1,200 Capacity

Take a look at the Call\'s website. It\'s a pretty nice play and I know that the guys would pack the place.

I\'m sorry to say Drew, but I think the Dying Room has finally died.

The Call would be the best bet, nice small place, alot of room in front of the stage, big bar. Though their covers are usually a bit pricey.

Agreed.

I was there seeing them last night and that place is a real dump.  The speakers dont even work right, they were a mess all night. The breakfast definately deserves better.

reading the info from the links provided if i was to go to a Prov.RI show I would vote for THE CALL

It says they have a meyer sound system. That will get my vote everytime.

Speaking of which, how come no shows at the Knitting Factory in NYC ????

Why would you want them to play the living room again?

PBfans(least coast): Living Room whine, wimper, waaaaaaaaaaaa!

Unlucky best coaster PBfan: Quit your whining. @ least you got to see the guys play and from the Living Room setlists over the years the guys seem to really rock this dump out. If you all r that dissatisfied w/ the venue.Convince the guys to play Samson and Delilah and tear it down yourselves. Civil Disobedience can accomplish so much :)

Either that or start a massive campaign in that city to get the guys into a better place. If that means writing letters or calling these places to the point where they have to book The Breakfast so be it. Most Club booking agents are wankers just looking to fill the bar. If you can convince this person The Breakfast is worth booking ie: chicks will show and drinks will be bought it can happen.
Worrying is like praying for something you don't want.

in all honesty,     I   F    they get the "new sound system" I would love to have another show there, it is not a bad room, accept for the MOLD and Piss and horible scunked beer,  but I think the stage set up and the idea the we can actually enduldge in the greener things of life there is awsome!  The people who work there are not that bad and we bring a great crowd.  Take it from me "Dr. Dobz" the sound guy.
