.info is one of the all-time great message boards.. certainly hope it doesn\'t go anywhere.

The Facebook group is in no way intended to replace or substitute for .info, although it does have some other purposes:

- good way to share events and reach more people at once
- not everyone has a .info account and some people just aren\'t into the whole message board thing but are always on facebook anyway

and most importantly,

- it\'s a form of peaceful protest regarding the hiatus that will hopefully be noticeable to the band

will dot info continue?

i assume it will be here as long as davepeck wants to pay for the domain name.  at somepoint in the past the question was raised when it would expire and i cant remember what the answer was.  i will continue to post whatever dates tim or any of the other band members ask me to, as long as i have the time...

thebreakfast.info is currently registered through sept.2012. I would imagine if dave didn\'t want to renew he would give me the opportunity to take possession of the domain name.

By the way just an FYI but Dave still does poke in from time to time and do a little maintenance when needed.

Seeing as the site doesn\'t cost me anything, as long as that continues this site will be active. I have no plans to shut it down.

wildpackofasscracks.com is available

The Breakfast is still a very viable force in the music world.
A force which I hope will be kept alive. They are irreplaceable for our musical needs.
Let\'s keep the wooping & hollering up everyone, because that\'s just what we do!

Nobody is saying they arent.....
But if you folks cant see the hiatus as a healthy break for these guys, then you are bunch of selfish crazy fools.......half the band is involved with a fresh and thriving project that NEEDS focus and dedication.....GRRRRRR!!!!!! this whole fucking argument pisses me off so much, because I love the fucking breakfast and every fucking member that was ever a part of the band and all of you fucks......but REALLY, if you cant see that a hiatus is long over due, than you are blind........

I never said a hiatus was a bad thing! Yay for the hiatus!
Just let\'s not drop our Breakfast fan club rattle. People wander off from a 12 yr. old bands
hard work because they think it\'s all over.
The Bonz has a Breakfest 3 in the works, so let\'s all stick together and keep The Breakfast vibe alive!
I love Kung Fu also & I really want that incredible band to send shockwaves around the music world!
Glad we\'re all still picking on each other, that means nothing has changed!

I hope to see .info last for as long as possible. I will visit here as for as long as I possibly can. I\'m really sad that the band is taking a hiatus but I understand and can only hope that this is the right move for everyone involved and that they will one day rise triumphant.
Are you ser?

this shit is insanity lets just live our lives please.  they aren\'t worrying about what we are going to do during the break are they ?  its clear what they are doing and if you really want to  bitch about something it should be about getting a new keyboard player who is actually willing to go out of CT to play a show  ( !!!!!! )

I don\'t even think a more convenient keyboard player can change this situation.  the breakfast have been in the red no matter who was tickling the ivories if anybody at all.  as much as i love their music more than any other band, they were due for a hiatus 4 years ago when ron left.  the fact they stuck around this long is a testament to how much they love the music and the fans as well.  this is a bittersweet time, but when they\'re cool to start playing around again, i\'ll be ready and waiting.  there\'s no other band that gets me off more consistently than the breakfast and i doubt there ever will be.  good luck to all 4 and their endeavors in the meantime.  show me the way to d\'angeldoo tour.

I am.

Not being negative just real.

Fun to listen to, great tunes, sure. That will never go away. But they are not a force in the industry and are not on track to do anything more than an ocassional reunion show for long term hardcore fans.

Just how it is. Hopefully they find success in their new projects because obviously they are all great musicians and great guys who have been doing this for a long time and are over due for  some success.
