so lets get back to skyeprizm\'s daddy issues
my daddy issues are simple.
i\'ve never met my dad even though he lives in the town i grew up in.
He\'s a douche.  Abandoned my mom when she was pregnant with me....

.

Is your dad one of those local sleazy Italians I hear so much about?

exactly......and even from east haven.

I know there are a bunch of Italians on here but I gotta say, as far as categories of white people go, they probably rank the lowest for ethics/cultural values.

this thread hasn\'t been bumped since May, thats a little sad.  What happened to the excitement from CT Breakfast fans?  This show  could\'ve been hyped to hell, but there hasn\'t been any mentions(besides galenas asking if there were fliers) about helping get the word out on this show and it took til just this week for a facebook event to be made for this gig.

I wish people were as psyched for this show as we were for Ron\'s last show at Toad\'s or the 1000th show.

They should do something special like:
announce special guests
premiere a new songs or 2
play some something really rare
free posters to the first 150 guests
buy one full price ticket get one free ticket
free audio download and video of the show.
All announced ahead of time to the masses!

sounds kinda boring to me. i think a 30 second promo video clip that shows us THEY are excited for the show would be cheaper and more effective way to a get a few extra heads in the door.

I\'m excited for this show!!!!! Where are the peoples at? The band seemed to be digging it at the Jam-boree, or maybe it was the Rebel Yell

maybe you guys are just oversaturated since you get residencies and what not, but both shows i\'ve seen this year(which were before april since that was when my surgery was) were each great(tammany hall and church of boston).  hell even friday nights setlist looks exciting to me.  i\'m sorry you can\'t still have fun fitzy.

I\'ve never been to a boring Breakfast show.
I never kept count of my shows, but it\'s been nine years.
The Breakfast music still lives whenever they hit the stage.
Anyone who has their doubts, best go take a laxative!
Something is bound up inside you.
I\'ve said it before: "The Breakfast is the audio version of Vincent Van Gogh."

I think Chris meant the band hasn\'t done much to keep the fanbase excited about The Breakfast. By that I would imagine, like, promotion, announcing any future shows, or appearing to be even accepting future gigs? Obviously whatever shows they\'ve played this year have been top shelf.

btw you said "oversaturated" in a sentence referring to The Breakfast. just checking ;)

Anyone into The Breakfast music shows up if they can. For the band to play the music
and do promo is asking a lot. The guys will show up and make it a great musical event.
The promo has to come from people doing it. Posters, interviews with a local paper,
radio show. It\'s been the same old issues rehashed for 12yrs.
A special guest player would help greatly to draw a crowd. Let\'s see...Tre..Dwee..Satc..Hayn...
