I loved the show..the energy and crowd was a fantastic way to kickoff a great year. I might not rage every song either (yet), just because it doesn\'t have that oldschool classic memory... but branching out above and beyond is what progressive rocking is all about! So happy they packed the place, and that we got some major heavy hitters in there. OE, Escher\'s, Buquebus= incredible! Jordo really "branched" out on queeb, and Adrian was a literal bumble bee buzzin away! I like the new tunes, they fit into their genre and years from now they wil become classics that we all know and love. Doors comment: I like them for nostalgic reasons, and I think songs like these help reel in some kinds of new fans, and allows the band to take a break from all of their shredding! Peace guys! :)

I thought you put me on your ignore list years ago......

I feel so strongly that 2011 is going to be huge for the band. Positivity is going help propel the band this year.

Exactly what I was trying to convey.  :)

When I walked in at the start of the show, saw they had a packed house, I couldn\'t help but smile. Definite signs of a great year.

I completely agree.   There was this contagious energy in the air. :)   It washed over my whole being and just made the experience even greater.

Put them up yes!!

Overall a good show. Even though Jordan\'s vocals were strong and Tim\'s slide playing was nasty, I really believe throwing in a Doors song in the midst of such greatness and vastly superior music is a total letdown. My $0.02.

Though we can always raise the roof, unless it\'s on fire!

The Doors fucking blow I don\'t care whos in the band. Whenever the Breakfast ever plays Doors all I can think is why is such a great band playing such a shitty song.

Pardon my bitching I just can\'t stand the Doors.

Been to enough shows that I know the next show they play could easily be one of my favorite concerts ever. As long as they don\'t play any Doors. Doesn\'t change anything.

wow  i\'m shocked to hear you talking trash about the doors.

I want more Doors!!! Bring it on!!!!
The Doors rule badass, drug infused, rebellious 60\'s art rock!
The Doors=anger and passion!
Just playing Roadhouse Blues at a Breakfast show brought up so much anger and passion!
Jim Morrison was a very sensitive man, who had let the devil in.
The Doors were more real and gritty than those hoo haaass Rolling Stones wimps!
Mick Jagger should be dead by now if he had some of the passion Jim Morrison had to be a bad boy of Rock n\' Roll! Mick Jagger is too much of a woos to burn out and die!
Break on through to the other side!!!  It\'s only rock n\' roll but I like it!

I had SUCH a good time at the show Friday night.  Great crowd and energy.  The Acoustic Cafe is a very nice venue for the band.  Bridgeport has a great local music scene and they come out to support quality acts.  That combined with being an accessable spot for many of the bfam have me very excited for April.

In regards to the setlist...I have no complaints.  There are always certain songs people want to hear, but in an improv act like the breakfast, it really doesn\'t matter.  As long as the band is playing well, like they were Friday night, it doesn\'t really matter what songs are being played.  I don\'t really understand the hate for the Doors cover.  What was it...a 5 minute song?  Who cares what they played? I\'m not the biggest Doors fan either, but for 5 mins they can played Yanni for all i care.  We got 2 1/2 hrs of ser biz breakfast.

Also...new Dangle tune and Timmy tune were excellent.  I think they both have SO much potential to become monsters.

Thanks again to friends, bfam, the band and the tapers for being there.  Truly a special evening for me at least.

Yes! Please play the Spy again. I listened to the Puppet House show with Morrison Hotel yesterday and i think that was my favorite tune. So good.

Anyways, the last song of the set seems like a good spot for the Roadhouse Blues. Raucous, rowdy, pumping up the crowd going into setbreak and leaving them wanting more! I have no complaints whatsoever. Keep up the good work fellas!
