This show is getting a lot of hate for being a "standard runthrough" or having "no experimentation". To each their own, but what I took away from this show was that Trey is back! That Hood and Character Zero is the most dialed in i\'ve heard Trey since they\'ve come back. No fumbling with notes or hitting awkward chords. He absolutely ripped apart both of those. His hands were moving so fast it was incredible. I haven\'t seen him capable of moving his hands that fast since the early 2.0 days. While I have been impressed with the overall band dynamic in 2011, it wasn\'t until last night that I felt that Trey was truly back. I think at this point every member of the band is truly capable of playing just as good as they ever have. We will see if that will translate into anything truly epic before the end of this tour, but I am more interested in this band than I have been in many years.
