Hard to go wrong for less than $13/show...especially if you get a couple jams like 6/3 DWD or Great Woods Rock & Roll.

I just made an awesome Sporcle quiz.  You have 15 minutes to name every Phish studio album and the complete tracklisting.  220 answers.  Number to beat so far is 167/220.  I only got 145/220 even though I made the quiz lol.  GOOD LUCK!

Pretty tame first set, but I really enjoyed the second set.  This show is getting a lot of hate for being a "standard runthrough" or having "no experimentation".  To each their own, but what I took away from this show was that Trey is back!  That Hood and Character Zero is the most dialed in i\'ve heard Trey since they\'ve come back.  No fumbling with notes or hitting awkward chords.  He absolutely ripped apart both of those.  His hands were moving so fast it was incredible.  I haven\'t seen him capable of moving his hands that fast since the early 2.0 days.  While I have been impressed with the overall band dynamic in 2011, it wasn\'t until last night that I felt that Trey was truly back.  I think at this point every member of the band is truly capable of playing just as good as they ever have.  We will see if that will translate into anything truly epic before the end of this tour, but I am more interested in this band than I have been in many years.

Don\'t sleep on Watkins

Thx for the feedback, I fixed it.  I originally had only one b in "Jibboo" and someone pointed that out too.  I managed to get all the data entered with no real spelling errors, but that was a lot of data to go through and I did mess up at least two fake words ("Pa" and "Jibboo") and of course spelling is key on something like this.  I worked really hard to program it to accept as many appropriate alternate spellings as I could think of:

YEM, SOAM, SOAMule, ASIHTOS, BDTNL, Antelope (as opposed to "Run Like An Antelope") and the ultimate one: Colonel Forbin\'s Ascent/Forbin\'s Ascent/Col. Forbin\'s Ascent/Col Forbin\'s Ascent/Colonial Forbin\'s Ascent/Forbins Ascent/Col Forbins Ascent/Col. Forbins Ascent/Colonel Forbins Ascent/Colonial Forbins Ascent

to name just a few.  It took a long time but that\'s what makes a great quiz.  Thx for the feedback!

Nice review Nick.

Agreed that Character Zero was pretty hot, and Harry Hood jam featured some fast Trey fingerwork.

Wish I could be as enthused about the band currently but it\'s going to take more than a few tight jams every half dozen shows.

I do agree it\'s at least encouraging to see Trey playing with some intensity, here and there.
Put the pointed pencil in the pepper-po and take a little sniff of the things below. :sadban:

I still think Alpine night 1 last summer is the best and most complete show they\'ve played since their return. I\'ve listened to literally almost every show, kind of sad in a way, but nothing tops 8.14.10 for me still. Sweet setlist, tight jam after tight jam, beautiful segues, just thick all around.
