RUMOR:

SPAC in mid to late august.  Phish crew already has hotel rooms booked.  If it happens though, don\'t expect an announcement until after Super Ball.

I hope we get the SPAC > Hartford run that was originally rumored before tour dates were announced.

god I hope this pans out to be true...
Where to next?

I think Mansfield is probably the worst venue to see a Phish show at... I\'ve seem them over 20 times and each time at mansfield has been less than  desirable.

They played a hell of a show with a lot of highpoints. Possum was sick, divided sky was a hell of a moment, and the 2nd set was awesome except for when bug started, kinda sucked the energy out of the place.

I hate leaving a phish show at 11:03 pm, I was so wound up the last thing I wanted to do was go sit around a bunch of traffic for a couple hours. The lot before hand was dryer than Ive ever seen, given that I didnt get there til around 6. No extra tix either luckily we bought ours before the show online and printed them out.

Unfortunately I witnessed quite a bit of hostilility from people inside and outside of the show, most of them being drunk massholes that like to pick fights for some reason.

I really hope they do hartford by some miracle, complete free for all and i dont have to walk around worried about drinking. If anything last night was a reason to go to Superball.... cant fuckin wait

The only thing I like about Mansfield is the pavillion because it is so small...everything else sucks.  The lot, the security, the traffic, massholes, etc...The magic is gone.

i\'m on the fence for superball

LOL.  I had no problems, and I was there at 4 pm.  Besides the heat, the lot was easy as cake where I was, and the cops were cool as shit.  There was a tank running nonstop by my car for like an hour and a half after the show and not once did the police even come by until the parking lot was empty and it was time for the last few stragglers to leave.  Plus I left the show w/ more money than I had before I bought my tickets there, so that\'s always a plus.  Most MA venues suck security and beer wise(esp in boston and at great woods), so it doesn\'t really bother me.  best GW Phish show since 2000.

a lot of songs.  so i assume not much jamming, although most of those songs are relatively short to begin w/.  buffalo bill and it\'s ice must\'ve been good to hear.

So when you say everything worked out for you in the lot... does that mean you found any goodies before the show? nitrous was everywhere afterward, but before the show no one i was with or met up with even heard someone offering anything. Bought some decent buds but that was it... never saw a phish lot that dry

This was one of those shows that rewards you for being on tour.  It was far from my ideal phish show, but it was great to hear a lot of rarities and bustouts to change things up a bit.  I thought that everything was really well executed and it is awesome to have that excitement/anxiety feeling for what song is coming next.  Mellow Mood! Buffalo Bill!  Dog Faced Boy!  You had the feeling they could pull anything out of the catalog. This show didn\'t really have any monster jams, but almost all the jammy songs in the second set extended a little beyond their standard structure...you could tell the band was feeling it.

After these last couple shows and with Camden next, I expect something special in NJ.  Phish always seems to bring something extra when they play there.
