70)November 10th, 2007 - Sully\'s; Hartford, CT

In looking back on all these shows I made a few notes listed here:

2)September 15th, 2005 - Wheel House Tavern; Narragansett, RI
This show inspired my .info name.  After my drunken calls for Peaches en Regalia all night (at the time it was pretty much the only song I really knew that the band had played before) they raged into it after a mindblowing Adrian drum solo after the owner of the bar granted them three minutes for an encore. Sweet.

9)March 2nd, 2006 - Stone Church; Newmarket, NH
After first attending a Timmy tour the week before this show, this was the first time I attended a Breakfast show with people I only met through seeing Breakfast shows.  I met Steve, Fitz and Elisa (who at the time I only knew as StephenGencs, Chrisf, and PrincessCaspian) and raged the night in a hotel where I first got to know Gavin by him jumping on me in my sleep and yelling "YOUR DRIVING!! YOUR DRIVING!!".  Real Dick.

11)April 20th, 2006 - Club Metronome; Burlington, VT
12)April 21st, 2006 - Nectar\'s; Burlington, VT
13)April 22nd, 2006 - Middle East Upstairs; Cambridge, MA
This is my favorite run of shows, with the Middle East show probably still taking the cake to this day as my "Best Show Ever".  Unbelievable.  Bfam prescence throughout, and I was finally learning peoples real names.  The wild first set on 4-20, where Face was still explaining to me what the hell Sundance was.  The Fozzie Bear Skin coat.  Dead midget hookers.  Two new songs.  Echidna\'s Arf.  "One more set chants" to the tune of "Get the fuck outta here!".  Car buffs.  Getting ser lost in Boston.  This one had it all folks.  The reason I love the Breakfast.

17)July 8th, 2006 - Corner Pocket; Orange, CT
Obviously this one was a huge turning point in every person\'s mind involved with the Breakfast.  Strangely enough, this was one of the first shows where I really felt like I was in tune to what was goin on.  I knew most of the people there, knew all the songs they played.  Second set was so many big songs back to back.  Huge show to be at.

20)August 12th, 2006 - Daniel Street; Milford, CT
Dipped early from a childhood friend\'s wedding to get to this one.  So worth it.  Probably the classiest I will ever look at a Breakfast show.

23)September 9th, 2006 - CODA; New York, NY
Easily the most frustrating experience I\'ve ever had getting to and from a show.  Organizing when to leave.  Getting pizza.  Picking up George. Not picking up George.  Picking up George again.  Buy train tickets.  Eat train tickets and drive into the city.  Try to get gas on the way home and get wildly lost in some rich shoreline city in CT.  God it hurts just thinking about it.  Luckily they played Peaches and I didn\'t smother Poophead with a pillow in his sleep.

35)February 2nd, 2007 - Mezzanotte Lounge; Syracuse, NY
36)February 3rd, 2007 - Mezzanotte Lounge; Syracuse, NY
SER Taint presence felt in these two shows, undoubtedly as a result of me and Face not having any money and gypsy-ing our way onto the bands floor for two nights.  The first nights 2nd set was written mostly by my suggestion (thanks for listening, Mr. Gencs) and the next night Face pretty much wrote 2 sets out and gave it Tpalms, although it got reworked a bit.  Listen to Rufus the first night for "Poophead!" and "Taintville!" substitutions in Adrians "Rufus!" parts.

38)February 17th, 2007 - Stone Church; Newmarket, NH
Sallyalli birthday show, the energy in this place was off the chizzain.  Def a top trio show.

46)April 7th, 2007 - The Saint; Asbury Park, NJ
With no money and a plane flight outta Windsor Locks, CT at 6am the next morning, Taintface drove me to the show, bought me a ticket to get in and a hot dog after the show, then drove me straight to the airport so I could fly to South Carolina for a week.   One helluva taint, ladies and gents.

47)April 20th, 2007 - Mezzanotte Lounge; Syracuse, NY
       From .info setlist:
"# The taints passed out hand bills at set break trying to get Save to speak. Transcript of the hand bill: "RON - NIE - SPEARS!!! RON - NIE - SPEARS!!! Please begin this chant after the conclusion of the 2nd set and before the encore, in an attempt to force bass player, Ron Spears of the Breakfast to engage in some stage banter. Thanks in advance, The Wild Pack". It didn\'t work, but Ron spoke with the bass instead."

53)June 27th, 2007 - Captain Nick\'s; Block Island, RI
54)June 28th, 2007 - Captain Nick\'s; Block Island, RI
55)June 29th, 2007 - Wheel House Tavern; Narragansett, RI
This run rivals the 4-20 run of the previous year.  Awesome shows, sweet vibes, my parents first show, fire alarms, The New Shoreham Inn deck, my first return to the Wheel House Tavern since my second show, and a raging Peaches to bring me full circle a year and a half later.

57)August 12th, 2007 - Gathering of the Vibes; Bridgeport, CT
Obviously, the first show with Mr. Oestreicher is a significant turning point, and I am happy to have been there.

63)September 16th, 2007 - Jake\'s; Wallingford, CT
Never heard such a small crowd yell so fuckin loud.

69)October 27th, 2007 - 9th Annual Fonghoulish Freakout; Higher Ground; South Burlington, VT
Too many good things to say about this show, as I\'m sure most people have read in the thread about this show.  Immediate top ten show that I\'ve seen, prob top 5.  Potentially one of the more important shows for the band in a while.  The Gladys Pimp was the first Breakfast song to actually
injure me during a show.

Thanks for tuning in, til next time.....

So Sully\'s was number 70 for me, and it was a hell of a show.   I don\'t have a spreadsheet.  Booztravlr, you wanna teach me how to do that shit?

Sorry Chip, I don\'t have any special formulas or anything. I started my excel sheet in Fall 2006 and manually add the info in after each show I see. It\'s really easy to update after you get caught up but I can\'t imagine trying to do it for 70 shows all at once. You can check mine out if you want though.

some years were easy, like 2004.  I was on the road. (merch)  so it was easier to count shows I didn\'t go to.  Others were a little harder, like 2002 I saw alot of shows but it wasn\'t always easy to remember which ones I def saw.  So I\'d say I there\'s a +/- 5.  as far as time though prob 10-15 min.

and since Dave added the show count feature to profiles I just keep it updated

Stone church was my 87th show. Such a great accomplishment, we should rank show numbers like wedding anniversaries, the diamond anniversary, the um, whatever the hell other ones are called. Instead of precious stones though, they should be named after breakfast foods. I\'m officially proclaiming 87 the "Apple cinnamon oatmeal anniversary show". It is a perfectly cromulent name for a show anniversary. I feel my ranking in breakfast lore has been embiggened already.

^100 short of homicide OGFZ.
The crickets and the rust-beetles scuttled among the nettles of the sagethicket. "Vamanos amigos," he whispered, and threw the busted leather flintscraw over the loose weave of the saddlecock. And they rode on in the friscalating dusklight.  --Eli Cash

I tried counting my shows last night but there were so many shows at zacquor, EC, and mezzanote, beardslee, etc between 2003 and 2006 and I was so schwilly at most of them that I don\'t know which ones I hit and which ones I didn\'t.  Then there are the shows I saw at festivals like harvest and vibes pre 2003 and have no idea there but there was a few here and there. Then there is also some other random ones that I couldn\'t find on the set lists page but I know I was at and probably a few in random locations that I am totally forgetting about. I know there was one that I remembered last night at a college that I had totally forgotten about until last night

Anyway there were 51 that I know for a fact I was at so my best guess at a grand total is somewhere between 60 and 80. I think it\'s safe to say I have seen at least 70 now including trio shows even though all of those sucked major balls.

I think that makes me the reigning #1 New York show goer unless phil or spohn (or maybe galenas?)says otherwise.
