Stublatt...completely correct.  It would be a shame if this board ended.   It does however need to be revamped and taken care of.  BTW - Diana, you\'ve done an awesome job as a one woman operating machine here.  Don\'t apologize for anything! ;) Seriously.  You don\'t get enough credit.  I completely volunteer myself.  I\'ll do whatever I can.  Anyone, just tell me I can, ask me to do it, whatever.  I am pretty darn computer savvy...and as long as everything is mac friendly, I am fine to create/do whatever.

Duane, you are not negative. =P  You\'re awesome.

I agree guys. I would like to breathe some fresh air into this message board and foster new fans and excitement. Maybe a makeover? give it a new look.

I would be happy to do whatever I can to help.  Just give me a shout. :)

i\'ve done my best to keep this place running over the past year, but at this point life is leading me elsewhere and i just don\'t have the time to post shows/setlists/etc like i used to. but what would life be without dot info?? so many friends have been made here, so many laughs. we need fresh blood, that\'s for sure, but i would hate to see a community like this just fall apart!

YOU are the best!

What is revolution?

Quote from: redbull binge/wikipedia
Scholarly debates about what does and does not constitute a revolution center around several issues. Early studies of revolutions primarily analyzed events in European history from a psychological perspective, but more modern examinations include global events and incorporate perspectives from several social sciences, including sociology and political science. Several generations of scholarly thought on revolutions have generated many competing theories and contributed much to the current understanding of this complex phenomenon.

interesting read.  im jealous down here in nj. i dont get much of anything breakfast related lately. we need another donegal show or something. thats for sure.

as much as i love Kung Fu, i still want to be able to support the breakfast as much as possible. and i dont want to see this place go anywhere, either.  its a shame pec dont care anymore. ive made tons of friends through this board and will third the motion for gabo as prez.

im trying my best to make whatever shows i can this winter. as long as they are posted ;)

i too am not in on the facebook revolution. though it seems most bands are using that as a tool moreso than their own websites these days which to me is just silly balls. not old balls.

to anyone who wants to take over go for it.

I don\'t need the hassle at all. I have enough to deal with and if this place means anything to the band they can put their money where their mouth is.

The site is already accessible via blackberry or pda and has had a stripped down version for years (it is auto redirected )

phpBB or any other board software would be fine but you will have to have everyone sign up again. unless you can find a migration tool.

Freddie I donate the space. It doesn\'t cost me anything except hassles and hearing it from my boss from time to time. I work at an ISP and one of the perks is free hosting for stuff on my account. So that is why I have been able to keep this place running all these years. Dave took care of the day to day and I took care of the hosting.

the site is currently 2.5GB and i have no idea how much bandwidth gets used because i have never bothered to look.

Sorry I got pissed off that a free donated service that makes other people money (potentially) was dissed by the very people this site was setup to help. And like Duane said the band members post but cannot update their own gigs ? Why does this site exist then ?
