Oh and Fuck the celtics.
Such a gracious winner, Leith. =P
too bad that all celt fan got from "The Big 3 +1" was one title.
you are most definitely right with that comment. this summer that team will be picked apart. I think Rondo will be all that\'s left. and maybe Pierce. But there\'s a lot of talk Pierce will jump ship. Ray Ray is a free agent and will not get signed back. Garnett may be traded. Danny Ainge in assembling that team proved that he\'s heartless and he will get rid of whoever he has to, to make a winning team. Doc Rivers will no longer be the coach, he made it loud and clear after the game by stating "was" and not "is"when answering questions.
So when the celts take the floor in the late fall, should be interesting what team is actually out there.....
I just hope, no matter what they do, they create a team that can beat you guys next year in a game 7 fourth quarter.
But the hero of the game was none other than your friend and mine, Mr. Ron Artest. When no none else did squat in the first half, he got steals and hit shots. He saved their season.
He was the reason that they were in the game for those first 3 quarters. I had doubted Artest and his abilities, but he clearly had Paul Pierce pegged and just outplayed him.
In the Celtics, I was the most disappointed in Paul Pierce. We already knew Ray Allen was in a starks-like shooting funk. We already knew Garnett was giving all he could. But Pierce...he spent most the game trying to showboat and be the hero. And that does not win a title. I have to say I was impressed with Wallace/Davis. They both played with such heart. I had been worried about them replacing Perk, and I was wrong. I really should have been worried about the ego of Paul Pierce.
