Thanks for the links cannon. And no prob Peaches. I always have to reel myself in when I talk about that show...someday I\'ll write a complete story about what the show meant. But for now, I\'ll just say that musically it\'s an immortalized show that should jump to the top of any Breakfast fan\'s mind when thinking of best shows ever. Like with Phish you think 2/20/93, 5/7/94, 12/31/95, 11/27/98 etc. Every Phish fan knows those dates. The Breakfast fan should know 5/5/01. Just a couple of quick observations:
- The recording quality is near perfect
- The band is always tight, but this show takes it to another level. It\'s studio-quality perfection a lot of the time. Pick out little things and you\'ll see. For example, listen to the drums in just the first 15 seconds of Sundance. The two fills are
perfect.
- Listen to the crowd reaction during the last two minutes of the drum solo. It just doesn\'t stop. This crowd is pwn3d. (There were about 500 people there...that\'s a huge Breakfast show!)
- Overall the dynamics are mint. Just listen to the dynamic range of the opening jam and you already know: "Oh man. This show is gonna be insane..."
OK I\'ll stop now
Enjoy!
