honestly, what would we do without this board...?

the first and foremost thing that we would do without this board would be to stop rehashing the same arguments and issues regarding the band, its success, etc for the past decade......

Only then can the healing truly take place.

Sing along, now.

so how about you and spacey quit the board and the rest of us can move on with a band that we actually enjoy? i mean look at this thread. who\'s bringing it down? do we need the "DEEEEEEEEEEEEW" comment on every poorly-attended show? maybe you could start up http://www.twistedvine.info?

Hey Zuke - coming down on Geng and Spacey ain\'t the way to go either... It comes down to the fact that there are two types of fans on this site when it comes to TB:

1. Fans of TB
2. Fans of Tim and Adrian

The difference is that fans of Tim and Adrian are ultra-supportive of whatever project these guys do.  The TB fans want to see TB succeed, that\'s all...  So when people complain about the lack of TB shows, it\'s because they are a Type 1 fan and not a Type 2...

Probably a legitimate observation.

Then I\'m alone.  I love TB and it\'s music... Tim, Adrian, Ron, Jordan, Chris & Matt are all talented musicians that I think should have a long career in the industry, but divided to side projects, I\'m not that into the music...

You don\'t see it because you support Tim in everything he does as do a lot of people on the site, because they are friends of the band rather than fans...  Friends are great to have, but fans pay the bills...

If some of the old timers are moaning, it\'s because they saw TB in their glory... And just because a show is a DDDEEEEEWWWWWWW doesn\'t mean it\'s bad musically.  Take the CBC show that the band played Vortex; there was like 5 people there outside of me, Pec, Nicki and Freddie.  Vortex was a joke, a big FU because they were going to jam for 1/2 hour because they could and now people talk about Vortex as if Phish played a complete Gamehenge...

It\'s obvious where the focus is these days and those of us that are only fans of TB need to move on, myself included...

I try to get some Breakfast every day. I\'m not ready to give up yet and move on. I support all of the guys\' side stuff because I believe in it. But that\'s just crazy ol\' me.

Are these the only shows i have to look forward to? This does not make me very happy. Most of them are festivals too which means i am going to have to pay 7 million dollars if i just want to see the breakfast. Are we going to see more shows up soon or am i going to have to get back to my life? Cause i don\'t want to.

Well, on the start of most summers this band has had a pretty sparse schedule.... gotta get those festy spots ya know... so I\'m sure we could see August-September dates from a few of the usual area venues begin to fill in.

Dunno if that made sense but just sayin it always seems like theres not much to look forward too besides fests and a show here or there this time of year.

So... enjoy some festivals :)
