not joking. GD is garbage

Wow.  I really hope thats a joke. I can think of 21988432842390848 other bands that are actual garbage even a band called garbage.

Even if you don\'t like GD, you need to respect the fact they influenced music for the better.

Hopefully this weekend I will pick up the new Jerry release from \'75:biggrin:

I started listening to the Dead in 8th grade courtesy of my oldest friend CJ. They have taken a backseat in the past few years but I always come back and its just like going back home. Everything is so roomy and comfortable like a nice hoodie or sweater thats broken in perfectly.

Great thread. SerDeadheads unite:peace:

**oh yeah,

3-14-06 Help on the Way > Slipknot! > Psygn > Spunk = yes!!
3-15-06 China Cat Sunflower > Gravity = yeow!!!

Help>Slip from D-street last november was unbelievable. I was stunned!**

Dark Star last night = mindblown

This music is so timeless it\'s no joke. Post DSO Party for the ages.. some stories better left untold.

Help on the Way >  Slipknot! > Franklin\'s Tower > Men Smart, Women Smarter was that heat!! Organic dance party!

I got some photos but I\'ll post them when I feel more like screwing with computers.

I bet it was a fun show.  Saving my \'night out\' pass for Monday.

The cops cleaned up in the parking lot.

My first Psychedelic Breakfast show and this is what I get.
Sadly, I don\'t think Spacey lasted until Terrapin but that is his story to tell.

I still can\'t believe people are so out in the open with their dealings at the Klein.  It just doesn\'t seem like the place to do it.  There are always cops around in the parking lot and on the street all around the joint.  They let a lot of things go last time I was there... guess they\'re crackin\' heads now.
Lois: What the hell?  Marilyn Manson?  Is that who\'s causing all this?  Peter: Yeah, it\'s all him or hers fault.  Who does he or she think he or she is?  Look, you can totally see his or her nipples.  That\'s obscene... maybe.  Lois: There\'s only one thing to do.  Peter: You\'re right.  We got to find this Marilyn Manson and I\'ve got to give that bastard or bitch a piece of my mind or penis.

Dark Star at the Calvin Friday was sooooo fire!!

Dude from Zen Tricksters on guitar is amazing.

Highlights: Saint Stephen, Help > Slipknot > Franklin\'s Tower, Man Smart Women Smarter, trippy ass Drums > Space

Probably the best Dead-related show I\'ve ever seen actually. Took some heady pictures I\'ll post later.

Yeah that would be Jeff Mattson.
I got in a small debate abt how he would fit in DSO this weekend. I was of the opinion that guitar-wise he would be a great if not better fit than John was.
Glad to hear he brought the fire I thought he would.

Not surprisingly, been a deadhead since I was 16, so well past my quarter of a century as a jerryfan.

Will be leaving work in a sec to go home, listening to David Freiberg & Co belting out \'Loser\' from last Thursday\'s Jefferson Starship show. It was apparently mooted that it would go on the PERRO album, sessions for which have booted in numerous forms. IMHO, DF absolutely nails it - what it would have been like on an album is anyone\'s guess. The JS guys, with Slick Aguilar on vocals also do a  fine bust-out of Deal, which they\'ve done elsewhere on the tour - and last night it was augmented by Tom Constanten on keys. (Missed the show, but I will be getting a recording, with luck.) Now, that TC, there\'s a character...

Isn\'t the William Tell section technically part of St. Stephen?  Setlists.net only show it being played on it\'s on on 6/28/67 - The Other One, Minglewood Blues, Dark Star, The Eleven, William Tell, Death Don\'t Have No Mercy, Clementine....

JGB w/out JG is just a backing band...  Seals is great, but shouldn\'t be the Jerry Garcia Band w/out the man...
